Hi enchanted beings!

After reading today's beautiful quote of the day, I had an idea for a new topic. Have any of you ever thought on something so hard and truly that it actually did manifest? I know that there are probably many ways to define such a pnenomenon. I'm interested to know people's experiences with turning thoughts into things in a mystical sense. For instance: Mind over matter experiences, or altering your appearance, like making yourself invisible, or who knows? The individual imagination is a powerful tool. Who would like to share their most astounding imaginings that have come true on any level?
Love,
Isis

Hii Isis!!

Wow!!what an absolutely wonderful idea for a thread!!!i must congratulate u on this!and the very name'imagination'gives me such joy and creativity(true to a neptunian).

Hmmm...well,i did very intensely want a guru after i had read lindas star signs and YES i found one...about an year and a half later but that whole story is in the avatars and angels thread.but i want to relate another one here:

Well,it so happened that i was a die hard fan of this very famous singer when i was about 13yrs of age.I literally worshipped him and there was lots of love involved.Later i did find out that he was a twin soul and we had a past life connection but this is before it happened.
He was coming to India that year and i must have been about 18 yrs old, still crazy and in love.woweeee!he actually was going to perform live!!!But suddenly i got sad bcos my mom and dad were abroad and i couldnt possibly scrape up money for the concert and it would be too late after they came!I was so sad,i cried and then i switched on the radio where they were having a music quiz on this star! You had to identify as to which song the music they were playing was from.Of course i knew the answer,he was my fave star!!But it was a lucky draw and i had one in a million chance.anyhows,i sent the answer, still brooding about the misfortune of my not having tickets. The next day,i had a call from a stranger saying...i had WON the music quiz on radio!!!!and can u beleive it...they were two tickets to go to HIS concert!!!I was speechless!!tickets..for free and so quick!!
I ran to the icon of my god and cried!!I was so happy,so bursting with this miracle!!

Who says love cant move mountains?!!!

love
shagun.

Well, Layla Isis, this very website is one beautiful thought that became a thing!

I'd have to day, though, that my "most astounding imagining that has come true," is -- you!

Dad!

That's so sweet. I hope you know that I have a BIG SMILE on my face now! You're amazing and I love you.

Shagun, thanks for posting here. That story really IS quite astounding! It was just meant to be that you would be there. A miracle sent from the universe. I've had some experiences where I have definitely felt that the divine has had a hand in guiding to me to what I have needed.
I guess that the "divine" and the imagination can be considered one and the same. We all as humansbeing have the potential for having divine presence in our lives. It's just a matter of unlocking the key to the truth within us, and letting it shine outward. For I seek, as I'm sure that all of you do, to be a medium for that truth. Thank goodness for people like Linda Goodman for giving us tools to decode the truth, the universal language.
I was just reminded of a prayer, known as the Gayatri. It's in Ralph H. Blum's Book of Runes, which I know some of you are aware of. This prayer embodies the spirit of Sowelu, the rune of Wholeness. Addressing the sun:

You who are the source of all power
Whose rays illuminate the world
Illuminate also my heart
So that it too can do Your work

It's a beautiful and powerful experience, which has definitely brought me some divine/creative energy.

Well, love to you all. I hope you'll keep sharing.

Love,
Layla Isis

P.S. Dad- I vaguely remember that you told me you once made yourself invisible. How? Share! Don't be shy!

Urrghh, my ancient past comes back to haunt me! Actually I did have a thing I used to do to make myself "invisible," back in my misspent youth when I was living in Hollywood and being a private investigator. I would visualize a fountain of white light spraying up from my crown chakra and falling down around me, cloaking me from head to foot. I don't know if I really believed it, but it did seem to keep people from noticing me when I was on a stakeout in a conspicuous location. But one day an amazing thing happened that really made me a believer.

I was following a suspected fraud perpetrator who was suing an insurance company for a huge sum, claiming an accident had injured him so badly he couldn't work -- but he really was doing heavy work on the sly, and my job was to find out where and get proof. I tailed him one morning to the employees' parking lot at Warner Brothers studio. Of course I couldn't follw him further because of studio security, so the next day, before dawn, I scaled the studio walls (shhh!) and perched on a hillside overlooking the parking lot, waiting for him to arrive. Unbeknownst to me, however, I had picked a back lot spot where a film crew was shooting a scene that very day! Before I could move, the whole crew came up and started setting up, while I was lying on the ground in plain view, binoculars in hand! I stayed totally motionless and "made myself invisible," and can you believe it, they set up lights, cameras, went through scripts and worked on blocking for about TWO HOURS with me lying right there in plain view, within a few feet of everyone -- and no one noticed me! Finally they all went off for a coffee break and I scurried away, but from then on I really believed in my invisibility cloak.

Thoughts ARE things.

Kathleen, what a valuable tool! Fascinating. I'm definitely going to practice and use this, as I have come upon experiences in New York City that are a little shady to say the least. Living across the street from an undercover mafia operation has put some serious thoughts about self-protection in my mind! Thanks so much for sharing.

Yes, now I remember the story, dad! My, you have LIVED!

The only story i can think of right now that relates, is my subway angel. He's not a real angel. His name is Silk, and he sings in the subway cars for money. I met him, when I first started singing and playing my guitar in the stations, and Silk found me and showed the ropes, taught me some valuable lessons, and showed me the best and safest spots.
Sometimes, being a young girl, singing by herself in the subway can attract someone unwanted attention. When we met, he told me that if i ever needed him, all i had to do was think of him, and he would find me. And he is a man of his word, because on several occasions, when I felt unsafe, or was just wanting his support, all i did was put him in my mind and sure enough he would show up. He's rescued me from a couple of harsh situations.Amazing, eh?
Thoughts are things.
Anyone else want to share a story?
Love, Isis

I just love all of the stories people have been sharing here! In fact, I attempted the orange triangle visualization today when I was driving faster than some legislators in my state capital decided is "legal." For obvious reasons, I thought it would be cool to be inconspicuous to those in uniform. But just after I began to image the orange triangles, I canceled it, out of fear that I might become invisible to somebody wanting to change lanes or something. NOT cool! Was I right in thinking this?

Thanks!

Isis's beginning of this thread is;

Have any of you ever thought on something so hard and truly that it actually did manifest?

This has happened to me with the Lexigrams, which in turn have made miracles real in my life every day.

IMAGINATION
I AM
I AM AN I AM
I AM ANIMA
I AM ANIMA ANIMATING AN IMAGINATION
I AM A MAGI IN A NATION
and more....

or how about...

IMAGINE
I AM
I AM ME
I IMAGE ME
I IMAGINE I AM ME
I AM ME
I IMAGINE A GAME
I IMAGINE I AM IN A GAME
I AM IN A GAME
I IMAGE A NAME
I AM MINE NAME
I AM MA, I AM MAN, I AM MAGI,
I AM MINE IMAGE
I IMAGINE ME
I IMAGE ME
I AM ME

Don't like who you are? IMAGINE a new you!
That is a miracle and that is intentions coming real!

ISIS IS!

Kathleen--Thanks for the clarification. I kinda felt guilty when I thought of using the orange triangles to elude the police, but then I figured that speed limits are arbitrary anyway. But now that I know the orange triangles are useless against officers just doing their job, it's not even an issue! I understand your desire to teach this visualization to all women. They certainly are preyed upon in many segments of our society.

LogosAngel--Another marvelous set of Lexigrams! Your truly do elevate it to a sacred art form.

Everyone,

I feel I can contribute a lot to this thread so I'm excited to read it every day. Right now, though, I wish to relate a simple yet poignant experience that happened to me this weekend.
As some of you know, I went on a meditation retreat sponsered by the school I go to. I went last semester and it was so life-changing and beautiful, I just had to go again. Only six people were on it!! But it was so special...anyway... (I tend to blabber on so much, forgive me)...I was sitting outside Saturday afternoon drawing the trees and brook that lay before me and the birds were singing all around me. One particular bird had a beautiful song, an easy song to imitate...so I did. We began to chatter on back and forth, rhythmically. I would whistle, she would...I would, she would....it was very even. Then I stopped...and she stopped. As if she were waiting for me. I started up again and she did too. Then she stopped and I stopped, waiting for her. And she continued and I did too. Oh, I was so elated and thrilled!! Even as a child, I had always been trying to communicate with animals.
Also, that very same afternoon, I had the immense gift of seeing a hawk quite close up. Some of you live in habitats where you see hawks frequently, but I don't. I live in Chicago - no hawks there, just tall cold skyscrapers!! The Hawk is a very special guide to me so I was thrilled to see it. He came very close, indeed, and landed on a nearby branch. He let out a few hawkish squaks and stared at me. Then he outstretched his massive wings and took off.

I just wanted to share that gift.

Peace and miracles,

LMB

Wow!

I'm so happy that everyone is enjoying the thread I started!
Kathleen, thank you for your consideration of my safety, it has been a concern of mine recently. I'm eager to speak with my dad to hear this spoken safety tool. Thank you.
LMB, your experience this weekend sounded so beautiful!!! It makes me long for nature again. I used to talk to birds too! It really makes you feel connected to the earth and all things living, doesn't it? I really want to hear your other stories you said you had to offer here in this thread. It's really becoming quite the mystical story time!
And thank you LogosAngel for offering the lexigram of imagination. You find such meaning in the lexigram. It's great.
I want everyone to know that I look up to everyone on this site so much, and that it's my goal to someday become as fluent in the language of the universe as so many of you are! Thank you for your prescence.

SMILE BIG NOW!
Isis

Hello everyone, I thought of putting this on the budding poets thread but thought 1. I might overwhelm you all since I've been posting a great many poems lately and 2. this isn't really a poem.

You see, there is a wonderful author and being out there named SARK who writes PHENOMENAL books that empowers you and re-minds you how to just BE. Anyway, one of her books is called "Wild Succulent Woman" and that inspired this little piece of writing. Keep in mind that she is not a feminist writer, this applies to men as well for men can be just as succulent as women!!!
***************************
Succulent women write poetry in their sleep
They walk very slow with their head up,
their eyes up to the ceiling of the sky.
Succulent women have their hair like silk
or thick milkweek they can tie up in
braids or leave down their back.
Succulent women wear lots of colorful hats
and bright socks with penguins
or parrots on them - perhaps monkeys.
Succulent women sing outloud to the sun
or the trees or a passing stranger.
Succulent women visit crayons often and
shriek and yell and laugh while the echo
rings throughout
Then she sits quiet, listening to the silence
of the sound without sound that swells
around her.
Succulent women laugh loud and strong
They worry about the Earth but know the Earth
has survived a long time and will
outlive human beans.
Succulent women nibble on ginkgo leaves
and eat mangos naked - at least once.
Succulent women eat lots of cheese popcorn
and wear long skirts in silk or
velvet or cloth.
Succulent women paint windows on their walls
and see someone they love in every
face they pass.
Succulent women can do yoga or
sit on the couch under a mound of blankets.
Succulent women search out other succulent women and have a "too much" party.
***********************
I'm still adding to the list. You see, ANYONE can be succulent. This isn't a limiting list. Read SARK...Linda Goodman would like her!

Kathleen i LOVED the orange triangle meditation!!!In fact it just reminded me of something i keep doing ALL the time!

Its like this.Whenever someone leaves my house on a long journey,or just to the bookstore in the corner and i feel something bad could happen,an accident maybe(ohhh the virgo moon!!!!)i just visualise a big bubble of white light surrounding the person. It ALWAYS works!!!And i have noticed with time, that the bubble has acqured more strength and it keeps getting powerful day by day!

Im definately trying the orange magic one of these days! This really works!!!

Positive mental attitude! Image it and it will manifest! Concentrate on what you want! See yourself in this new situation!

...it's right there! Just like Linda said anagrams were right there, in the newspapers everyday, and really it is a form of lexigrams...

it is there, and the correct occult term for it is...

MAGIC

Perhaps someday we can all call it what it is. For an altar and candles and incense and a wand and athame and a robe, or a cross, or any other god/dess figure...they are all just props that we can use to focus on what it is we are doing, making magic! All magic is is directing energy toward a certain outcome to create a desired effect. PMA, thoughts are things, motivational tapes...it is ALL about how to do a successful spell, and make magic...

It all comes down to you, Stevie Nicks opines from her Pagan days...it comes down to you and your intent. No intent, no magic. Spell fails, discard to your graveyard (anyone else play M:TG?). You gotta have faith, in the immortal words of...okay, someone please help me now...!

And ever mind the Rule of Three!

Blessed Be!

Carlo

Here Here!
How we SPELL the words and how we voice the SPELL works the magic. I am a man and I so Love the words...
Be Still and Know, Thou Art Goddess.
As we surely are.
And we are weaving MAGIC, MAGI we are.
I feel so succulent.
Smile.... grin......

This is a great thread!
Hi everybody [hi Kathleen... it's miaowgrrl!].
This is one of my favorite topics, and I really love all your stories. I don't think I have one that is as directly cause-and-effect as some of the others, but I do know that many times in my life, I have made things happen. It always feels like I'm just giving the Universe a push, if you will.
I concentrate on the outcome that I want/need, visualize all the elements coming to my side to aid me, and... I guess it's sort of like visualizing a birth. It has worked in many different types of situations. It doesn't always work-- the frustrating part is that I feel like I don't have a firm enough grasp on it to harness it. You'd think by now I would, since it's something I've been doing since I was a kid (I was one of those kids who would jump off my bed and flap my arms, convinced that if I believed hard enough, I'd be able to fly. And I kept this up way longer than most kids do...*blush*).
Anyway, I've also done shielding, similarly to the orange triangles Kathleen mentioned. I imagine a clear, strong white light surrounding me... people have actually stepped far out of my way when I've done that. I truly believe the mind can give birth to anything the imagination creates; it's just a matter of honing the skills.
Blessed be to all. Thanks for listening.

LosLogos?
I'll go with that one....
I like that too.....
I also really really like the orange triangles. I tested them and they are a true charm. I also previously liked (and still do) the bright white light of Love in my heart, but those orange triangles cannot be beat. Pure gold.

ORANGE ~ NO ANGER, NO EGO, NO OGRE, NO RAGE NEAR

TRIANGLES ~ ANGELS SING IN, TRIANGLES TIE ANGERS, TIE RAGES. A SAGE SING IN, A SAINT SANG IN, TRIANGLES TIE LIES.

MIRACLE ~ A CLEAR EAR CLAIM A MIRACLE REAL ~
I AM A MIRACLE CLAIMER

Thank you Kathleen for the orange triangles.
