To Kathleen:

My surname adds up to compound number 38. In order to be able to add it to my first name's single number do I add up 38 to get 11 and then add it to my first name's number or do I add 11 up to get 2 first ?
Please help.
Ruxandra.

Allow me to assist...

The 11 is a Master Number and remains an 11.
It can't be reduced to a 2. Add it to your first name number, then you can reduce.
I believe this is accurate!

Blessings,

Carlo

Thank you Carlo
I knew that no.11 is a Master number and would not normally be reduced at this stage but I thought that only applied when it was the original compound number of part of the name-- in my case 38 is the original compound number of my surname and that is why I am not sure if the 11 that I get by adding up 38 abides by the same rules as the the irreducible No.11. Remeber that in Linda Goodman's Star Signs she says that there is only one circumstance when no. 11 can be reduced and that is when it is the final number of the name. That is what still confuses me.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Ruxandra.

It has been my understanding that the 38 in your case would reduce all the way to 2 and be added that way. That's how I've been doing it all these years. You only use the 11 as a master number when the original word equals 11. Similarly, 29 reduces to 2 as well. The word "black"=11, on the other hand, does not reduce. Hope this helps.

Kathleen, thanks for the clarification. I always did the calculations the way I had been doing them without so much as even a second thought. Also, I can't think of any specific instances where I had to add a word that equalled a 38 or 47 or 56.

But, to be sure, I put the matter to my Higher Self, and he confirmed that you are right.

Hi Kathleen,

I'd like to find out if for instance if the first name vibrates to 19 and the second name vibrates to a 13 - how does one arrive at the karmic compound number.

Should we reduce the 19 to 10 and add the reduced 13 (1+3) to 4 and arrive at total compound number 14 or do we just add the 19 and the 13 to arrive at that fortunate karmic number of 32 ?

I would like some clarification on the above.

Thanks
druid.

Hi Kathleen,

Thanks for your reply.

I tkae it that henceforth, the names have to be reduced to the least number before before one actually gets the compound number.

In this case, the 19 has to be reduced to 10, remains at 10, then the second name is reduced to 13 and then to 4 whereby we then proceed to add the 10 + the 4 of first and second names to arrive at karmic compound number 14 - right ?

Somehow, intuitively, I feel the number 32 fits me more perfectly (namewise) than the 14 ? According to Linda, 32 was a charming number for communication coupled with popularity...

what do you think ?
