Karen, I have worked out Crystal's and this is amazing! Lifepath 7 Birth 2 Soul 2 Personality 2 Power of Name 4 How many 2's.......!! Let me tell you the description of the 2 is so RIGHT ON for Crystal. And as for the 5 for me, it's pretty much there as well, only comment I would have is I can cope with a committed relationship, it just has to be fun I can't be in stagnent environments or depressed ones!!!!!!!!!! FUN is the word, but when you find the right partner you should be able to have FUN anyway!!Right?? Anyway, you go girl, you go! Crystal and I are so well matched to your descriptions. You are a No:2 aswell you must be LOVELY!!! Love and laughter, Kelly-Anne

Kelly-Anne: Wow, you are a triple 5 vibration and Crystal is a triple 2 This makes for a great comparison as the energy of those numbers will be greatly magnified! x3 I do want to say to you about the 5, it is all about fun. Fun with a capital "F". A 5 can be in a committed relationship! Just remember, 5's do abhor boredom. It just kills them. They absolutely cannot stand it. The relationship must allow freedom for the 5. The 5 will always feel trapped if they are not allowed to be having fun and feeling fancy free. Life is one big adventure to the 5 and they must live in that element. So as long as your relationship allows that, you will be most happy my dear!!! I want to add that the 5 is your lifepath number so for you, fun, freedom and adventure truly make you happy and without it you will not feel fulfilled. That is the meaning of the lifepath...that which will truly make us happy. With your soul and powername numbers also being a 5, you should feel the pull of the 5 vibration more intensely than someone with just a 5 lifepath. Not only is it your fulfillment in life but it resides in your soul and vibrates with your name. If you were to change your name, you may find this energy lessening to a certain degree after some time of using a new name. Each person is different. I am quite happy to hear these results....although I didn't really doubt that what I would say would carry any clout! When I get more into the backbone of this method, AND finish posting the characteristics of the numbers, you will begin to understand how numbers that might not be compatible with you and challenge you instead, can help you to understand the differences that separate you. Understand the numbers and allow them to live in harmony with one another. I am working on number 7 now so I will get back to work. And I see that this is Crystals' lifepath number so this should be exciting....and her 2's reside in her soul and her personality combined with a lifelong pull from the birthday spot so we all can understand where she gets all of her compassion from. She is bursting with love!! and with her post about Kosovo, should we have any doubt?! And yes, I am a birthday two as well...forever the peacemaker. Love and light, Karen [This message has been edited by Karen (edited 04-16-99).]

Karen, Thank you sooooo much for the lessons I'm really enjoying learning this! I've copied and pasted all of your lessons in a word document so I can keep them for reference! Most of my numbers are the ones you haven't posted yet but I do have a couple of questions. My name changed 14 years ago when I married so I've got two sets of numbers, one my birth name, the other my married name. The only two numbers that changed were my Soul, and Personality, strangely, no matter which system I use Pythagoras or Chaldean, both of my names (birth and married) are always 9! I guess changing that 9 vibration is a NO NO Lifepath 8 Birth 1 Soul 7 Personality 2 Power of the name 9 My married name changes my Soul to 1 and Personality to 8 giving me doubles and only 3 different numbers. I know you discussed this briefly but how do the married/birth name numbers apply? Which ones are the more powerful numbers? Thanks again for the lessons, and I can't wait to hear your response, I'm really getting into this Peace, LOve and LIght, PurplePeace PS Please post 7,8,9 sooooon, I'm so impatient

Purple Peace, I am so glad that you are enjoying this variation of numerology!! It has been my passion now for the last couple of years... Okay, you are getting ahead of me here Believe me, my fingers are typing as fast as my mind will allow!!! I intend to discuss the birth name which is referred to as the "destiny" number as we move through the lessons...but I know that you are just so enthusiastically awaiting for an explanation and I just love enthusiasm so here you go.... The married name that you are using today is the energy that you are putting out to people now and that is the most important. The Destiny number represents your aim in life. It shows you the path that you must walk and what you must be. Destiny is always the power behind any change and will continue to express itself throughout your life. What I would suggest to others with the same question would be to break down the birth name and compare the powername # which with the birth name IS the "destiny" number, to see if it is compatible to the name you are now using. (Have I lost ya yet?!) Let me give you an example: These are your two sets of numbers: Maiden name numbers = 72918 Married name numbers = 18918 The birth name number or destiny number is a 9 and your powername number through your married name also equals a 9. You are one of the lucky ones, my dear This was not the case for myself ..... Quite often when the destiny number is not compatible with the powername number that you use on an everyday basis, it can slow you down in achieving inner peace and happiness. While you cannot change your birthday and lifepath numbers, you can alter your day to day name to help you accomplish your goals. But I am afraid that I will never get all of the numbers posted if I stop to go into that aspect just yet...that is another lesson. I hope that this answers your questions. I am working on finishing up number 8 and will be getting into 9 soon. Stay tuned. Love and light, Karen [This message has been edited by Karen (edited 04-16-99).]

Oh Purple Peace, You are just vibrating to a higher frequency with a powername number of the "9" . Have you seen the description for the 9 yet? Read it if you haven't yet. In the meantime, here is a portion.... The 9 can have a tendency to be very hard on themselves. They can do an excellent job and if one thing should go wrong, they will be the first to assume the responsibility. A suggestion to the 9 would be to forgive themselves for being human and lighten up. Find the humor in the situation. Seek out a "3", share a laugh and remember that we all make mistakes. Wanna share a laugh with this "3" ? No need to apologize, I am thrilled with your enthusiasm and I WELCOME it with open arms (I just wish that my fingers could type as fast as my brain thinks!!! LOL Love and light, Karen

Hello Karen!!! Great Job your doing on the lessons. Being quite versed in numerology myself, it is interesting the see the different ways to construct numbers to give such rich meanings to our lives. My method is a tad different. My Path= 33. I never reduce this number because, as you know, it is a Master Number as are 11 and 22. In humble contradiction however, a soul may choose to reduce their master number if they are unable to handle the immense power associated with them. Only a soul who has done much healing of him or herself as well as matured enough can choose to accept the full range of intuitive power and energy that is given on to him in this life time. In any case, I find that these master numbers usually begin to blossom in later years if so decided upon. My Direction =7 My heart-self =9 My inner-self =5 My outer-self =5 My Key =5 My Foundation =7 1st Cycle of life =4 2nd Cycle of life =8 3rd Cycle of life =3 Karmic lessons= 2, 4 ,6 And so on. There are also musical notes and colors associated with all the above of course. It is also wise to incorporate the total sum before the final reduction as well. In this way, it gives the essential directives or clues as to how the final energy number was established. After many years of study in human behavior, Child and Youth work, Psychology and metaphysical pursuits, it has been quite interesting to apply this knowledge to numerological delineations verses using only their usual meanings. Nevertheless, it's great fun and mind blowing don't you think?!!! It has always been a quest during the interchange of self-discloser with those I help, to not only provide numerological interpretations, but to delve much deeper in order to provide a person with a new sense of self-awareness, a better understanding as to why they do the things they do and help them to develop new skills verses outdated and distorted conditioned behaviors from their past. To teach them to take back their power they may feel they have lost, make new and wise choices for themselves upon reflection of past choices and to help them see that they are in control of their lives. My firm belief is to help those who are willing to help themselves. It was not my intention to flash my numerological data nor boast of what I have gained in knowledge but to only provide interest in styles and an informative view of numerical complexities and helpful human understandings. Your doing a fantastic job Karen as well as all of you dear, sweet and beautiful souls. Bravo!!! I'm proud of you all! Keep up the excellent work. God Bless!!! A fellow ARIES

Hi WiseSoul, Thank you, it means a lot Your knowledge and input is very welcome! I was planning on talking about the Master numbers sometime today...maybe....my fingers are still trying to recuperate from yesterday's submission! I agree with you about the Master numbers. Master numbers are very powerful vibrations and I believe that those of us that are gifted with these numbers are selective individuals who are here to inspire others and serve humanity...sounds like you fit the bill And yes, if one is not ready to handle the immense power of these numbers, it can sometimes cause much inner turmoil. To understand yourself, through the vibrations of the numbers is a step towards unleashing harmony within. In Star Signs, Linda talks about the single numbers and how they will interact with the different sun signs of the zodiac. It is here that these two different methods of numerology can conjoin to show that we might all have opposing forces working within us and if we can learn how to apply our differences and balance them out in a way that brings peace and harmony into our existance, than that is the true beauty of the power of the numbers. It is a joy to enlighten those around you and assist in bringing new meaning to the opposing forces all around us. And I am pleased that you have jumped right in. Sharing knowledge with others without reservation brings to me an inner joy unlike any other... Please feel free to jump in at any time, I am always learning and enthusiastically I might add! Your assistance here is invaluable and I look forward to your "help" along the way And Happy Birthday to you, WiseSoul Love and light, Karen [This message has been edited by Karen (edited 04-17-99).]

This is wonderful, Karen. I'd have to say the lifepath number works for you for sure -- you're a great communicator! Well, I've done my numbers, so I'll join the fray: Soul = 38 = 11 = 2 Personality = 44 = 8 Power of Name = 82 = 10 = 1 Birth = 12 = 3 Lifepath = 32 = 5 Guess I'd have to say these numbers fit me pretty well. In my inner soul I am certainly the peacemaking "2" mediator, always seeking balance and harmony; but the executive "8" is what people often see at first meeting. This is especially interesting if the "2" is a Venusian energy and the "8" a Scorpion/Mars vibe, because Venus and Mars are in mutual reception in my chart. And the Name Power of "1" definitely epitomizes the Aries Moon that is the focus of my natal chart. Obviously "3" makes sense as a birth number -- I've been a writer and communicator all my life. But the really interesting result for me is the "5" lifepath number. No doubt about it, freedom and adventure have been the hallmarks of my life. Ahh, the stories I could tell ... in my misspent youth I actually carried this vibration to the extreme of escaping from prison (where I was incarcerated for avoiding military service in the Vietnam war)! Heady stuff! A happy note on overcoming one of "5"s potential handicaps that you mentioned: although I've actually been married -- uh, well, just say "too many" times, in true "5" fashion -- my marriage to Firesong has been going strong for 17 years now, and we're still happy as peas in a pod. So we CAN learn from our extremes! (...took a Sag to tame me, though ) This is great stuff, Karen, keep it up!

KAren, Well, I've done my numbers and can I just say that I was floored! Life Path: 45=9 Birth: 10=1 Soul: 22=4 Personality: 25=7 Powername: 2 First, I was most suprised to find that my lifepath number is the same as my name number according to the Chaldean system. Nine has always had a strong presence in my life. My birthday is laced with nines, and most of my planets are in the ninth house! But most of all, the definition you gave fits me to the tee. I've always felt in the core of me a deep humanitarian drive. A need for the world to be perfect and ideal. With my sun and moon in Virgo, I'll have to keep a close eye on that perfectionist in me, as well. Interesting that my birth and life path are opposites. And sadly, it seems that nine is toxic to most of my other numbers. Really, Karen this is most fascinating. I have to go back, and read the other defintions, but I was so excited about the nine, I had to post right away. Thank you so much. It's really beautiful what you are doing. Just think how many lives you are touching right now. Right on!! Love, Layla Isis

Why thank you dear Webmaster I am really pleased to hear that numerology, no matter which method is implied, quite simply, WORKS! It is very much the same way with astrology, in that an individual's chart can beseech them with "challenges". I have dealt with my own challenges throughout my life and in studying numerology and now astrology, I have found it both helpful and insightful in bringing forth an inner peace and harmony. Layla Isis, How nice to see you here, we haven't heard much from you of late!! I am so glad that you are enjoying this variation of numerology. Although you might find that your numbers are toxic/challenging to you, remember, it is possible to find solutions that allow you to "live in harmony". I believe the true beauty in numerology lies in bringing us to the realization that we sometimes do reside in conflict but that we can rise above that. As long as we can "understand" ourselves, we can promote an inner peace that will allow us to rise above it! May the power of the numbers light your path Love, Karen

Karen, I have a question, maybe I missed it along the way, but you mentioned a number we had to calculate called "Atitude" you said you would teach us about that later, but it wasn't in the 'top 5'numbers!!!! The other question is why did we have to write down our fav. months, days, dates, fathers details, mother's details etc.....I haven't used it.....!!! Just so you know, I have been using your numerology on several people close to me and I'm rather impressed, with how well it has described them, just thought you'd want to know Look forward to hearing from you. Love and Laughter, Kelly-Anne

Hi Kelly-Anne, You were right, I haven't touched upon the "attitude" number as of yet. I intend to discuss the "attitude" number, hopefully sometime this week. The attitude number is what you "think" you're getting. It is what impresses people. For example, my attitude number of "3" powers my lifepath number of "3". So the description of a "3" is actually doubled in my case and intensifies as well as harmonizes my purpose in life as well as the attitude that I project to others. It is not in direct conflict with me...what you see IS what you get in my case. The list that I suggested in the introduction will be helpful in forthcoming lessons, as I will be talking about compatibility, intensity numbers, the world number, personal year and month numbers, and a few other variations on ways to use numbers in your everyday life. It was basically a helpful suggestion! I have found when calculating numbers, it can be helpful to have the information in front of you for reference purposes as well as comparison reasons. I hope to take up where I left off this week!!
I am thrilled that I have received such positive feedback here and I hope that you will continue to show your support!! Bear with me I'm a little under the weather today, but I promise to be back tomorrow with more food for thought!!! love and light, Karen

Hi Karen, I have been following, with great interest, the pythagorean system of numbers as presented by you. First off, I want to thank you for all that great information - to be able to compile a system as ancient as this one and to be able to portray it in such simplicity to us on this site is no small achievement. Thank you ever so much. I am a great believer in the Chaldean system, so I viewed this system with a sceptic's eye (trust Cappy to suspect the new !). However, I did admire and respect the way you so carefully and concisely introduced this new system...of course to be honest, the first time I glanced at the description of the numbers...I thought it didn't suit me and I thought - there's nothing like the Chaldean system (Gosh, I better stop this "closed" thinking and I ORDAIN IT RIGHT NOW !). I still haven't had much time to really go through your new system of numbers but after reading my number (according to the Pythagorean system)for the second time, my prejudice blinds were pulled back, as facets of truth began to shine through ! What toppled me was this topic - the attitude number - and according to this system, I vibrate to No.2 - well, the attitude number describes me to the T ! Now, I beginning to view this new system as having additional facets which otherwise cannot be explained by astrology or the chaldean numerology...for a cappy with just two quite distant signs in water and a host of others in fire and air, it kinda gets difficult to sink into mysteries and seem in touch with the "metaphysical" - well, No.2 cleared all that! Thank you once again for your dedicated hard and cheerful work ! I will be re-reading all the numbers again and comparing it with the Chaldean system and I'll let you have my comments - if you invite them ! Once again, a BIG THANK YOU !!! A nose-nuzzle from one goat to another... druid. [This message has been edited by druid33 (edited 04-21-99).] [This message has been edited by druid33 (edited 04-21-99).]

Wow, Karen, Exhaustion!!!! Probably from working so hard at this subject from us all, don't overdo it will you. I hope I didn't make you feel as though you had to do it right away.....because looking at the times you posted you probably did!!!! But we love you for it......and are definitely enjoying it. Now, I was born 19th September, which gives me an attitude number of 1 + 9 + 9 = 19/10/1 so my number is 1......I have to tell you this description is pretty good, I do need encouragement and will go to the ends of the earth for anyone, but I'll do it twice as fast if I get a pat on the back afterwards. I know we should do it anyway but I always feel soooo nice when appreciated I'm just going to read it again......double check I haven't missed anything Love and Laughter, Kelly-Anne

Just wanted to let Druid know -- I moved your post (above) from the Attitude Number thread to this one, so I could lock that thread at Karen't request. That way it will stand. along with the Numbers 1-9 thread, as a permanent reference. Hope you don't mind. Keep up the great work, Karen!

Purple Peace, Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I am delighted that you are enjoying this as much as I am. Druid, I am honored that our resident "lexipoet" has joined the fray, and I thank you for you kind words of encouragement and support. I hope that you will continue to join us here and that it will meet your expectations and perhaps WOW you a tad bit more. Your comments are always welcome. Kelly-Anne, You are just so sweet! Your enthusiasm touches my heart and I appreciate your support. Your show of concern is very special to me and I love you dear girl I have a lot on my plate right now and sometimes I just tend to "over-do it". I've been accused of being a "work-a-holic" (what, this Cappy?) but my labor of love here has given me riches beyond belief. Thank you for your assistance Greg and I thank all of you who have shown your support and have been enriched by this thread. It means a lot to me. love and light, Karen [This message has been edited by Karen (edited 04-21-99).]

Hi Skylah, You have a lifepath of "6" which is a compatible number to your attitude of "8". This is important. Remember the lifepath shows us what we need to fulfill in order to be truly happy and the attitude is what we "think" we're getting and what impresses others. Your numbers breakdown as follows: Soul - 4 Personality - 2 Power Name - 6 Birthday - 9 Lifepath - 6 Attitude of 8 Your lifepath and power name of "6" dubs you "the nurturer". 6's possess a nurturing quality usually bestowed upon children, but if you do not have children, perhaps you attract men who are likened to little boys. Do you have any pets? 6's can be like a proud parent with a pet. You might possess a keen sense of smell. It is possible that you do not take well to criticism and tend to give too much of yourself. 6's need to practice good communication skills as they quite often will wait too long before speaking up about their problems and concerns. They are also quite gifted musicians and possess a magnetism that forces people to sit up take notice when you walk into a room. Most of all, a "6" needs to just relax and try not to control your situations so obsessively. Your attitude number of "8" says that you are here to "master" money. You probably possess a great business sense and may find yourself caught up in your dreams and goals, much to the detriment of others. 8 is a "victim" number as well, and you should take caution in your daily activities. You might be a bit "materialistic" but as an 8 remember that you have the ability to become wealthy. "4" resides in your soul and you probably view your home as your haven. You feel right at home out in the garden, or relaxing in nature settings. 4's are into the logic of life and are always searching for the truth. You are most likely a very responsible person and you live in your head most of the time. Try to relax, keep a journal to write down all of your many thoughts and ideas. The "4" has a lot to teach us. "2" is your personality number. The peacemaker, mediator, loving and wanting to be loved in return. You probably loathe conflict, seeking out peace and harmony whenever possible. 2's tend to be on the psychic side and will have episodes of déjà vu. They are extremely interested in all things metaphysical and can have dreams that come true. You probably don't feel the need to place yourself in the spotlight but at the same time, hate to be alone. The "2" is just "good" people. I would caution a 2 to be careful not to take on the problems of the people they love. This can manifest in the development of physical problems. Your "9" birthday number gives you humanitarian qualities and 9's are considered the natural leader. They need to be needed. The 9 can also have issues with their family, perhaps feeling unloved or abandoned or the flipside of the coin, feeling completely responsible for them. The 9 needs to be careful not to be quite so hard on themselves. They should lighten up and forgive themselves for being human. Skylah, this is just a brief summary. For more in depth information on the numbers, you should visit the threads where I have posted their characteristics. If you have any questions, holler! Love and light, Karen

Thanks Karen!! it's pretty much accurate, but i have a few questions on how to read the attitude, birth number, etc... you said that my attitude number 8, denotes someone who has good business sense, and all that. i don't know if i have that. but the way i was reading it, is that i have very serious businessy attitude. rather than i actually have the business talent. i have always wanted to create and run my own company and i think that the 8 reflects that desire. however, i don't think it necessarily follows that i possess the "good business sense", as i don't have much confidence in making it in the corporate world. just because i feel i'm not a really corporate businessy kind of person. although, i do have kind of a serious attitude. can you elaborate a little on how to read these different numbers?? also what is the difference between your birth number, whole name number. i know both are supposed to tell who you are. so, are they just two ways to tell you your personality. the personality number obviously also tell about your personality. so i feel that there are three different numbers that all just make up your personality. i guess what i'm trying to say is how come they have so many different numbers that denote special aspects of yourself, when all the numbers are in actuality describing the same aspect. (birth number=whole name number= personality number) please elaborate a little more on the distinction of the different numbers, because i think that numerology, astrology reveals your desires to be a certain way, and in what certain way, you will be the most happiest (lifepath). your desires may not correspond with what will actually make you happy. so our desires may totally misguide us to try to achieve something that will make us unhappy. and we actually would be better off, just trying to obtain our life path number, which would really make us happy. am i thinking just totally wrong on this issue? i'm just trying to get a deep understanding of the material. Thanks, it was so kind of you to do that for me!!! Blessed Beings,. SKylah
