Hi, Jovette! WOW! What a compliment! You compared me to Gregory!!!!!! Did you see that, Greg??? *blush* I am flattered! And how do you "k-now" that I am not eighteen? You might be surprised. I COULD be eighteen hundred years old, so don't be so doubtful! You really should learn to play chess; it is most incredible way to spiral One's thoughts. The "game" (I don't like to call it just a game) is truly inspired. And the basic rules are very simple. Oh, if you pick up a book and look through it, it looks horribly complicated, but if you get taught by some One in person, it's not difficult. I have taught so very many people how to play in only five or ten minutes. It all depends upon the Teacher. Enjoy the book. But don't get scared at the scary parts. I just said that about chess to be funny. My father and brother used to play when we were little, and to me, it was like another language. I'm not really interested.

Hey Everyone! I'm a newcomer to this site. However, I would like to thank Donna for the link to hidden meanings site. I'm especially fasinated with Bill's suggestion of Adam and Eve, and Genesis. Linda Goodman had wrote in Star Signs that the answer wasn't Genesis or the theory of evolution, but maybe a little bit of both. Could this be what she means? It's very thought provoking.

Mostly I LOVED Star Signs.
I've glanced at other books by Linda but none caught my eye like Star Signs. Honestly I've never heard of Gooberz before! From the feedback I'm reading, I ought to check it out.
I've read many books on numerology and find that Linda's version is Right on! I'm also very fascinated by her ideas of Cell Regeneration. Personelly it makes sense, however I'm still young enough that I haven't been able to put it to the test yet.
Have you read the hiddenmeanings website?
Do you have any feelings on the suggestion of Genesis or evolution? I Find this aspect of life intresting simply because it's important to know where you came from and there are so few ideas on how we became (one).

Hi, Chris! I look at Genesis as Jewish mythology. But like most myths, it has some basis of Truth within it. I believe the story of Genesis is an analogy describing what happened the best way the writers could. Few people realize that the Book of Genesis was written by monks long after the Bible was originally compiled! It is full of symbolism which has been overly simplified for ease of understanding. I've been to that site, and I do not agree with all of it, but it IS interesting! Don't get me wrong--much of it rings of Truth to me. It's interesting that you would mention cell regeneration, because I have accomplished this. Trust me, it is easier to "freeze" your cells where they are at (after maturity, of course). If immortality is your goal, I would not age and then reverse the process if I were you, because the act of aging by its very nature creates doubt that is likely to prevent cellular regeneration. You should go to some of the threads on immortality in the Linda Goodman Forum. Some VERY enlightening stuff! Gooberz is a large book, but it reads very well (I've been through it three times). It will have you in tears of joy throughout! Linda was truly one-of-a-kind. Peace to all.
