Gregory, some One just compared my writing to yours! Wow! I am truly flattered. Or..should YOU be? Hee, just kidding. Did you get to read any of Behold a Pale Horse yet? I am anxious to hear your comments and criticisms. Blessed be.

Well we could BOTH take it as flattery, Deathnomore!

I'm very scientifically and analytically-minded myself (with a 10th house Virgo Sun conjunct Mercury how could I NOT be?) ... but I have over the years realized that there are some things poorly suited to scientific scrutiny for a simple reason: science is designed to examine OBJECTIVE phenomena (that is, things that are weighable, measurable, or otherwise quantifiable) and does a brilliant job of that. But it is useless for understanding SUBJECTIVE phenomena (consciousness, emotions, synchronistic happenings and so on). These things by their very nature are NOT quantifiable, and therefore not amenable to scientific "proof" or "disproof."

Just a tiny example of how the scientific method breaks down in astrological research -- let's say you're doing a study of Mercury in the 10th house, where you would expect the natives with that signature to be involved in "communications-related occupations." Now here's Joe Blow with Mercury in the 10th, but he's a warehouse worker for a factory. From a scientific or statistical point of view, that immediately becomes a datum tending to "disprove" the traditional wisdom ... but the scientific study can't know that he is the one person in the warehouse that everybody talks to and asks questions of - that in fact he IS a primary communicator on the job! No scientific study will never make that correlation because his job title (the objectively measurable thing about occupation) has nothing to do with communications. Yet everyone who knows him will immediately recognize when an astrologer says that Joe will excel at work-related communications, "Oh, yeah, that fits him to a T!"

Hi, Neha! The Rat is the first sign in the Chinese zodiac. As "Luck" would have it, 1900 was a Rat year, so it is rather easy to determine which year we are currently in by a simple calculation. According to Legend, the rat was Buddha's favorite animal; the Rat was the first to arrive to wish Buddha a fond farewell before he ascended. Rats are not dishonest, but they are clever, and sometimes this can be viewed as "sneaky." Some people (who are not personally familiar with the Rat) may view a particular Rat as less than ethical, but this is simply due to the fact that the Rat always manages to find a way to come out of every situation without many losses. They seem to always find a way to win in any situation. Rats appear so harmless, but this animal should never be underestimated! Rats are interested in anything secretive, mysterious, or unusual. Rats appear calm, but inside, they experience extreme restlessness. They are easily bored, and they have an almost compulsive fear of failure. Rats tend to be gullible, but they quickly learn from experience with "almost blunders," so many Rats are always casually "on guard." The Rat is ruled by Water, which imbues it with the power to influence others. Water also gives the Rat restraint, persistence, and even great leadership skills (if the Rat is willing to develop this inner talent). The Rat is Yang, but Water is Yin, so the Rat is very balanced. Rats are not lazy by any means, but they do not like very hard work (there IS a difference). Rats prefer to work by their wits and not by physical labor. Rats love sales, as they are very thrifty, and they find it difficult to turn down a really good bargain. Rats are probably the most senimental of all the signs, especially on birthdays and anniversaries. Although thrifty, Rats are very generous to those they Love! As a general rule, Rats are not domestic people (unless there is a conflict in their inner companion), but they do like to have somewhere to go for a retreat. The typical Rat home will be comfortable, and Rats do like to entertain guests occasionally. A Rat home will be very tidy. Rats make great hosts; they like to cook for their guests, and they want their guests to be very comfortable. An avid collector of knick-knacks, the Rat home will be well furnished. At work, Rats have an aggressive drive, but they have little direction with which to focus that drive. Rats can be trouble-makers at work if there is too little for them to do to stay busy. Rats are also guilty of engaging in gossip, especially at work. Rats are good gamblers (unlike Snakes such as myself who couldn't win a contest if I was the only participant and the contest was rigged). Rats can unearth solutions to the most difficult of problems. Regardless of their actual occupation, ALL Rats are detectives at heart! Rats dislike mundane everyday Life, rigid timetables, red tape, having nothing to do, any kind of failure, and ALARM CLOCKS! Rats are the most comatible with Oxen, Dragons, and Monkeys. They also get along very well with Rabbits, Snakes, Dogs, and Pigs. Conflicts can arise with the Rooster and Goat, but Rats should stay away from Horses altogether. The Horse and Rat rub each other the wrong way in a very bad way. Unless they have a compatible inner companion, they should avoid each other as much as possible. When a Rat falls in Love, everything is passion and romance. The Rat is very cautious and nervous at first, but once the relationship is firmly established, the Rat's generosity K-nows no bounds! Rats will be very sentimental about little things shared with their partners. They are likely to save things that others would consider trivial, but to a Rat, this is what Love is all about. Unfortunately, once Rats feel secure in a relationship, they tend to become selfish and demanding. This can alienate their partners, and Rats need to work on this flaw. Rat should watch their health as it relates to the kidneys and bladder. Rats are usually not sports-oriented, and prefer instead, puzzles and games of chance. Rats are very social creatures, and they like to keep up with fashions. They enjoy bargain-hunting, especially for antiques. You are a Wood Rat, so you may be creative in some way, usually in an artistic fashion. Wood Rats are also endowed with self-confidence and a strong moral sense. On the negative side, Wood can give a Rat too many options, leading to a complexity that is often unmanageable. Combined with indecisive Water, this can mean trouble. Your sun sign of Cancer is very compatible with your Rat qualities. Cancer Rats are very sensitive to the needs of others, protective of those they Love, and surprisingly good at business. Cancer Rats are great dreamers, but they have what it takes to make those dreams come true. A great combination!

Wow! That is soo accurate! I hate sports and working hard, a lot of ppl who dont know me do call me lazy. I do look really calm, but Im the total opposite when it comes to the way I think. Can you find my inner sign. Is that like the moon sign in western astrology? I was born on 9:02 AM.
Thanks a LOT,
Neha

HI deathnomore,
You know how Cappys get younger as they grow older? How does that work if youre immortal. When youre like, 200 years old, will you act like youre five or something? And what does youre family think about you being immortal? Has anyone else you know tried it? Are you more attracted to ppl who are your illusionary age or your real age? God, I just have so many questions!

Hi, there Neha! The inner companion is more of an ascendant than a moon sign. Your inner companion is the Snake!!!!!! Unfortunately, this still makes the Horse incompatible with you. Cappies don't really grow younger as they "age." Their psychological age just does a reverse. For example, it is common to see a Cappy out skating with his or her grandchildren! Us Cappies grow up fast, and we are very serious as children. We never really experience our youth. But stern Saturn is not all that bad, because he gives us our childhood later in Life. I'm in that stage. I am carefree, and I play and enjoy Life with child-like awe and wonder. Chldren tend to gravitate toward me in droves, because I understand them, respect their views, value their opinions, and show them the attention that every child deserves. And I'm just a big kid myself! Perhaps I've missed my calling; I should have been a clown, because I can ALWAYS make a child laugh! I should volunteer in children's cancer wards, and that is my goal. Cappies do return to mental youth, but that doesn't mean that I will ever act like a five-year-old or a two-year-old! It doesn't work that way! Most of my immediate family are still alive, and they see that I have not aged, but they refuse to accept it for themselves. They are religious, and it is this that keeps them still honoring death. It's sad. MoneyBaby (from this site) and I are best friends (and roommates). He is also an Immortal. My Solar age (the number of "years" that pass) is the ILLUSORY age. My REAL age is my Cellular age (how I look and how old my body "thinks" it is) and in a secondary fashion, my Mental age (how I act and feel). I am in no way attracted to people who are close to my Solar age. I am attracted to girls who are 18 to their early 20s (same as ME). I did date a 17-year-old awhile back, and being a Gemini, she could not keep a secret (my Solar age). She bragged about dating an "older" guy, and her father was furious! But once he met me, he wanted me to marry his daughter and get her out of his house! He saw that I looked and acted her age, had never been married, had no children, didn't smoke or drink, wanted to wait until marriage to have sex, and was far more mature and responsible than guys from her school while still retaining child-like youth and energy (an overall nice guy). She and I went to her Prom, and it was wonderful (I never went to my own Prom). Despite her father's deep wishes, she and I were more friends than anything else, and she married her first Love. *sigh* I go to college to be around people who look around my Cellular "age.' With you having a Snake for an inner companion, you should be very good and extremely successful in business, especially as a Cancer. The Snake does make you more prone to gambling losses, but calculated risks (as in business) will always pay off for you. You should definitely become self-employed! The Snake inner companion also makes you very beautiful. You don't have "perfect" features, but the overall effect is one of stunning beauty. That's how the opposite sex views you. Your skin is lovely! I have good skin, but my Capricorn influence combined with my age reversal has given me occasional acne outbreaks. Oh, the woes of youth! Any other questions?

wow, Neha
those are wonderful questions!
i knew i had some more questions about it, i just didn't know what they were until you asked them..hee-hee.

i am curious too, about the attraction of either solar age or cell age.

even now, i find it difficult to connect with someone my true solar age, and i wonder if, i were to stay this age cellularly if that would pose even greater problems of meeting someone i can connect with, because spiritually, emototionally and intellectually i will have matured (i hope) simply through experience, however i won't look it.

what if mentally i connect with 60-70 year old men, but physically attracted to 20 year old men? lol

i know it probably doesn't matter anyhow, because life happens as it will, i am just pondering.

Deathnomore do you think in about 20-30 years from now that your parents will believe you?? hehe

love,
crystllyne

Crystllyne, I regret that in 20 years or less, I will probably no longer have my parents. *sigh* But I can at least see my great great great (infinity) grandchildren! To answer your other question, why can't you be a catalyst for wisdom to the guy you next share your Life with? These "younger" girls I've dated always learn a lot from knowing me. I'll admit, it would be nice meeting some One smarter than I for a change (modest aren't I?), but I do not mind it the other way around either. You just need a person with an open mind, and then you can have him become a very wise Soul soon after meeting you if he is ready and if his Free-will tinker toys allow for it. Peace.

Hi Deathnomore,
I was just wondering...How do you tell ppl youre immortal? Like if youre dating someone, how do you tell the person something like that? Has anyone ever left you thinking youre weird or something? My friends think Im a weirdo for even beleiving in immortality! You know how Linda said immortals "disappear" and just start new lives? Are you going to do that, or just stick around and let ppl know?

Hi, Neha! I usually start out with vaccinations being dangerous. That usually ends my relationships pretty quickly. The Truth has to be swallowed in small bites (you can't eat an elephant in one sitting), and immortality is the last thing I share. Believe me, if a girl is still around me by the "time" that I share my immortality with her, then it won't scare her off! She would have left much sooner! I DO wish I could just be like every One else sometimes and not K-now all that I do. *sigh* Things got easier when Linda wrote Star Signs. Now, I just tell them to read the book! At least I can laugh about my failed relationships! Anywho, I plan on obtaining a new identity (unless the world becomes more accepting in the next couple of decades). You ARE weird, but in a good way. Don't change!

Hello Deathnomore,

What is your background in spirituality? Self explored, family, taught through mentorship, as you seem to have inner wisdom.

Hi, Merlin. We all have inner wisdom if we would just listen less to Ego and more to Spirit. The closer I get to Spirit, the more wisdom I acquire. Still, I enjoy physical existence--a good meal, a movie that brings tears of joy to my eyes, and alas, too much tv. But I maintain my connection to Spirit, and in doing so Truth is revealed to me in the most unusual of ways. When I have a question, a book from a yard sale has even answered it! Twenty-five cents for a Uni-versal Truth--now THAT"S a bargain! And I have mentors (GURUs) as well. My family is about as superficial as the come (although I Love them very much). So, I didn't inherit my wisdom, that's for sure. And I use books to help me re-member. Even the books that are not Truth have a grain of merit to bring me more illumination, although they might lead some people astray. Seek Spirit, and all things will be revealed to you. All knowledge comes from the whole (although we each can contribute more to the records). But all in all, though flattered by your comments, I have much to learn. My journey has but just begun. And I have not always been pleased with the Truths I have learned, but with Truth comes the responsibility of Teaching. I will continue to do so, even though I am attacked on a daily basis in this world. This voice of Truth will not be silenced. Out of very ten or twenty who mock, one silent heart will hear--one Spirit wil re-member--one door to illumination will open. Thak you for your kind words. Blessed be.

Yes, I do believe that face reading holds much merit, although not as much as palmistry. Aside from some lines, the face changes very little (but it is good for personality profiles). Palm lines, mounts, and other features change when One alters One's future, although personality characteristics (finger length, hand size, etc.) is unchangeable. I think face reading is neat! Do you?

Yeah, I beleive in face reading. Its really accurate. Im always reading ppl's faces in my head. Whenever I look at a person, I think things like..oh she has small lips, she must be an introvert.
If you do change your identity, how would you do it? Would you just age and then dissapear? And how will you keep in touch with your family?

Neha, changing One's identity is easy (but not necessarily legal). There is NO WAY I would age first! Once my chrono age (solar age) gets too much compared to my cellular age (physical age), I would just take my children (if I have any) and vamoose (the Deathnomore Relocation Program). Another country is a possibility. Or let my company run for a few years and return as my son! Creative, huh? Maybe immortality will catch on (doubtful). Any suggestions? And Proxymoon, I do not fully understand your post. Peace.

Hi Deathnomore,
If I was immortal, Id move to different parts of the world. One lifetime in America, one in Africa, one in India...you know. It would be a much more interesting way to use the time I have. Wont it be kinda weird if your kid is 20 and you look just like him?
How would you feel if one of your kids decided you were crazy and wanted to be a Christian? I have nothing against Christianity, but I would freak out if my kid decided that I was going to hell or something.

Neha, vaccinations are not required to attend school! Go to Bird Lady's thread on this same Forum called "Immnizations?" You will see a lot of information on this very subject. It would not be awkward for my child and I to look the same age; it happens all the "time" with parents that have good genes and age slowly. No child of mine would EVER be a Christian! Without being too critical or insulting, let me just say that Christian belief systems are conditioned from birth. My child will be rational-thinking and a seeker of Truth. My child will drive the teachers crazy, if he or she is outspoken, but a Christian? Peace.
