I am neither, however both marriages, divorces, all 4 children, and most of my friends are either a 4 or an 8 (some both). Should I be concerned as well, or does it not apply to me because I am not personally a 4 or an 8? I'm a 5, 23 (by birth) and a 1, 10 by name.

Shaman, no email was shown on your profile?? I have Star Signs (that's where I read about 4&8) but not the other book mentioned. What's odd is that it's not me that is a 4 or an 8, just all of the people around me!! I was born on 7/23/68, hence a 5 (23) by birth date. My first name totals 17 (or 8) (however it's my understanding that the name that is signed, including last name, is what is used). Any way, my middle name totals 4 (but I almost never use it or sign it). Any my last name totals 20 (or 2); hence 1st w/ last name totals 10 (or 1) (how am I doing so far?) What I really want to know, I guess, is should I be avoiding the "heavy karmic debt" of those numbers? This ties into a relationship issue currently. All past unhappy relationships were HEAVY with either or both 4s & 8s, by birth (theirs and/or our children -- conception as well as birth) or name or planet, even marriage and divorce dates. However, I'm at a cross-road with a rare chance at not only finding a 10,1 man by name, but also 23,5 by birth... as in 7/23/68 -- yes, same day, same year about twelve hours later than I was born. I think this is a good thing, but I'd feel better if the "stars" were in on it too!! I'd appreciate any insight you could offer!!

It just occurred to me that my first name (8) plus middle (4) plus his last (1) = 13 or 4!!
But I don't use my middle??? does that matter? Sometimes I'll do my numbers with their last name to see what happens. Is this totally rediculous??

you sound like a person who has some background in this field. I am number 4 and therefore I am concerned...I have met someone who is number 8 - it was as Linda describes a 'magnetic attraction' but already than I had a feeling that it is too good to be true. Does it mean that if we stayed together it would finish badly? (Once I was told by someone dealing with the kabbalistic numerology that it would finish in a catastrophe, without giving me a really numerological explanation. Later on I have read about these two numbers in Star Signs and also in the Cheiro's Book of Numbers and I feel that I do not have enough information yet.) Could you help me to solve this 'riddle'?

If you do not have both 4&8 in your birthdate there's no need to be over cautious. If combinations of 4&8 are constantly appearing in unfortunate incidents affecting you then you should avoid further increase of the power of 4&8. Read Linda's book on the numbers 4, 8 and the combination of 4&8.

This 4+8 scenario has caused quite a stir amongst the population....I am an Aquarius(4) born on the 2nd. My overall numerlogy birthnumber 2/2/1966 = 26 = 8 . Aquarius used to be ruled by Saturn, a double whammy.
I have always attracted 4's and 8's my entire life...and been rather unsuccessful ( only in the LOVE dept.) But finally I met my wife, a Scorpio 11/6/1967. A 6 by day but an overall 31/4 vibration. I do not know what to think about this 4&8 combination. I have noticed that in many cases I somehow encountered number 8 - but in a regular everyday situations. When this combination appears in a relationship - 4&8 - than it is a different story. I wonder if people 4 and 8 should simply avoid getting into a relationship -in the way it is written it sounds like this...but theory is one thing and the other is the reality...
