Hi, I'm Gregory Ellison, your webmaster. Yep, I know the site is starting off slowly, but that's good because YOU get to tell us what you'd like to see here! This is also the place to report technical bugs or problems with the site, and even for (ugh) occasional complaints! We have great plans for the Linda Goodman web site, but we need your feedback so we can know what we're doing right and what we're doing wrong. Our onjective is to carry forth Linda's wisdom, knowledge and loving spirit to her many longtime fans, as well as to new admirers who are just discovering her. Please let us know how we can make this a better site for you. Thanks, -- Greg

This web site is fantastic!!! I am so pleased that her memory will be forever with us here. I would love to see photos of Linda in her happier times if they are available. Just keep up the good work - her inspirations will live on - here in her "new home".

Thanks, kstar. Glad you're enjoying the site so far. It's a real labor of love (with equal emphasis on the "labor" and "love"!) Crystal has a wealth of memorabilia from Linda that we'll be presenting on the site over time, including a few photographs of her in earlier times. Stay tuned and thanks for visiting.

Hi Gregory! The site is looking great! You wanted to know what we wanted to see here on the site... well, a link - a link to an absolute enlightening site dedicated to Lexigrams - I found it by "chance" one night and it blew me away! Please look into it... the address is www.goodworksonearth.com. This would be great! Thanks! Love and light! Again... GREAT SITE!

Thanks Tammy. We'll be putting up a "links" page soon, and I'll make sure this one gets up there. This is exactly the kind of related information we want to be able to point people to. Thanks again.

Good morning, Gregory! For those interested in physical immortality, you may wish to link http://members.xoom.com/chalice156/ Much of what Robert Coon says there is in sync with Linda's ideas in _Star Signs_. However, he does not agree with her stance on abortion or her advising people to continue eating fish and fowl for five years after giving up red meat. I'm just sharing this site with you, so you can deem if it would be appropriate to link to lindagoodman.net. Peace, KJS

My interest with that site is mainly for the bibliography. I've never read any of his work though. I think your saying his ideas are "fundamentalist" is probably quite astute. But I do give him credit for not soliciting money or joiners as so many with "mystical secrets" seem to do. To my knowledge, Linda never did this either, and that was one of her appeals for me: her integrity. Thanks! KJS

Hi Shagunj, I have gone to barnesandnoble.com and searched their out of print books as well as their catalog of books and found that many of the books that Linda references are available through various used book stores across the states. I would imagine that you would be able to purchase them on the internet? Peace, Kstar

Hi Kstar! thanks for the reply and yes i have searched online and found quite a few books.but yknow the main problem is the currency.i mean they demand dollars and i here in india can pay thru only rupees whatever the amount is.i guess i shall have to go to a bank and exchange it for dollars.but oh!how i wish this were a little more easier!im sure all my fellow natives would agree.i have had so many requests for gooberz but i simply cant do anything!i guess also...that i would have to talk to some book shop owners to import these books from abroad.but very frankly they never try. ah well!i guess ill have to live on intense desire then? thanks again shagun.

Hi Shagun and all. I am feverishly working on the Gift Shop portion of this site right now (a lot of complexity involved!) As soon as that's up -- very soon, I hope -- you'll be able to order Linda's books directly from here. The standard payment method will be by credit card in American dollars, but if that's a problem for anyone, just send me a message and I'll work it out one way or another for you.

gregory- thanks for helping me. ( the register problem) i hope to enlighten my life with this new found website. i have regarded linda goodman as my life teacher for over 21 years. i have given her books many times over, as gifts of hope and miracles, along with the purple plates of magic. i have collected every copy (first edition-hard cover) of her writings. there seems to be intense power in these books.--i have never felt that same intensity in the paperback copies. my son and husband have known the importance of giving me the first editions, since star signs(gooberz- and relationship signs) as gifts. 1978 i bought the love signs, double book set, and knew i found my long lost teacher. i have found a used and rare book store in my area (detroit) a few years ago, that has at times, had hard covered copies (some first edition) of linda's books--even sun signs.(reasonably!! priced) i hope to see this, and other like this in your store. what a miracle for anyone to own an original hardcover book authored by linda goodman. -----i am interested in knowing how long you and the others have known linda, or her writings- teachings??or is it presumptious to ask---(my aquarian mind bolts to really know) thanks and godspeed--adrienne

Adrienne, Welcome! I, mys-elf, found "Sun Signs" in a used book store and it is indeed the first hardcover edition. What's great is that it had someone else's notes in it, which thrilled me. I was also lucky enough to order the first edition of "Venus Trines at Midnight" (before they came out with the 1998 version) as well as the long-lost "Love Poems". Both have such an antique feeling, smelling like an old house full of cherrywood, tea and sweet peas in the rain!! And I wholeheartedly agree, in terms of "Gooberz", I MUCH RATHER like the hardcover than the softcover. No offense to the paperback industry, but "Gooberz" deserves a nice sturdy cover. It seems to carry with it a nice energy. But we must also not forget that putting it in paperback lowers the price and makes it more affordable for people. But still.... I'm glad I gave all hardcovers to friends as gifts. Hope to hear from you more, LMB

Hiii Greg!! I think u must be TIRED of me suggesting things and pestering u so much!!im sorry...but im just so excited for u guys that things keep popping up in my mind all the time!!Can i suggest one more thing? ok...i was just thinking...how about a small members profile thread?i mean our moderaters could give the info and then probably write something about the member they seem to perceive(of course..something positive),so it would help other members have a clearer image of the person?whatever u say. Oh yes greg,I think there will be a problem regarding currency while buying online.ysee we foreigners do not have the american currency or the american credit cards...so it will be a problem.but if u can think of anything,it will be fabulous but even if nothing works out...we will SURELY purchase those wonders, one way or another!wish us luck! and THANKS so much for working so hard to make this site a delight for all of us.All my best wishes are with u. love shagun

Hi Greg! Here iam again.well,i just seriously wanted to discuss this.I would LOVE to buy SO many things from the bookshop but...i cant!!!!Its not financial problems fortunately but currency problems. As i had written a few posts earlier.that some books of lindas just dont arrive at certain places and if i wanted to buy them online, the standard method would be dollars. But the problem is i have a credit card but in my own indian currency of rupees!!How in the world can i buy online when i just dont know how to get dollars!!And i definately wouldnt like a "slush fund"(as carlo had stated which had irritated me.thank god its over!)I mean i could give any price to get anything about Linda, the problem is...CURRENCY!!Its been bugging me so much bcos most websites abroad offer the standard payment. Not their fault and i dont expect u to change the whole system.Just...what do u think could possibly be done in my situation Greg?Just need an opinion, some advise. Thanks!! shagun.
