Hi Tammy,
I was considering starting the color diet myself although I am waiting until I can completely commit without other obligations. I would be interested in hearing about your experiences with it.

Hi kstard... to start off, it took me three years to finally get all the equipment I needed. My Higher Self was trying to tell me something... she knew what I wasn't aware of yet... that I wouldn't be fully committed until now. I had the hardest time finding a the proper light bulb I needed, so in my eagerness to start I went out in search of a way to MAKE my own light bulb! One day I was in an automotive store waiting for my car to be worked on. I went over to the paints(being curious) and I found what is called HIGH HEAT RED for car engines. It withstands heat up to 1200 degrees F. DING! The bell went off in my head and I thought hey! Why don't I paint a white opaque light bulb RED? Why not!... It worked! Today is my 25th day on the Color Diet. The lamp "appeared" one day at a flea mall when I was with a friend of mine. Her parents owned the booth I was looking in and I turned around... there it was! A white, goose-neck desk lamp that could hold a 100 watt bulb. My friend's mom saw my excitement and gave me the lamp for FREE! The desk lamps nowadays seem to only go up to 60 watts, but I am sure they make them to go higher... I just haven't seen them. After my first couple of days on the diet, I started receiving email that contained suggestions about the Color Diet from someone who had tried it and succeeded. As soon as I find my notes I'll put some up. The foods are great, and the weight is coming off! Funny, after I painted my light bulb and began to use it, I received word that Home Depot carries a 100 watt RED opaque light bulb by Philips. Now and later... re-member:
No doubt leads to success!

Hiii Tammy!!

sooo wonderful meeting u here!!and im so GLAD to know that ur colour diet is working!!actually it really does!!and ure right u gotta beleive in it too!but as i said this colour therapy is practised here in india in myriads of case in a naturopathy hospital.they have these huge coloured glasses under which the affected area is placed and for a certain amount of time.the results have shown to be very good!!but these glasses are directly exposed to the sun so its the sunlight that actually falls on the part.no matter though, for any object would do.people here also beleive tremendously in wearing gems and stones and from my personal experiance, they really really work!!!

and oh yes....keep up the diet!i think im gonna start very soon!and linda is right...the weight loss is proportionate!

love
shagun.

Hello everyone! In a few days, I'm going to start the red color diet....But there is one thing that I'm wondering about...what if I slip up and eat something from the blue/green spectrum (I tend to be spastic & absent-minded ....)? Will I need to completely restart the 45 day (or 54, or 63) cycle? What do you guys think?

Hi Quasar,

It is my understanding that once you start the diet you need to follow it STRICTLY or you must start the whole process again.

On page 312 of Star Signs (small paperback) Linda states 'if you miss a day or two, you must begin all over again, because you will have disrupted the necessary continuity of the conditioned response aspect of the color therapy. This is why you shouldn't begin you color treatment until you're prepared to fully commit to the schedule and stricly observe the three steps of the formula."

I hope this is of some help.

As someone who has dealt extensively with the color diet over the years, I can say unequivocally that you shouldn't worry about screwing up. Linda herself said that stress and frustration were the biggest barriers to success with the color diet. I did a lot of research about the foods. There were some inconsistencies that Linda herself didn't catch!

The only time you have to restart the count of days is when you miss the daily color bath. Also, the 45, 54, 63 time limits are NOT ABSOLUTE! I know what Linda says but this hasn't proven true with my experience, nor with two other people I know who've done the color diet. If you're not done by the 63rd day, continue in 9-day increments until you've reached your ideal weight.

I can vouch for the validity of the color diet. It does work. Just follow the steps the best you can, don't obsess over any portion of the plan, and enjoy the process. I could go on and on, but if you need more info, you may email me at Tes7000@aol.com.

Hi Everyone --
Yes, the color diet definitely works! I tried it a couple years ago, and it made me a believer. When I have more time to concentrate on the *real* work in life, I will definitely try it (and I have to find more red bulbs too, I lost the one I had -- thanks for the info you gave Tammy -- maybe I will paint a bulb myself too).
Just my tuppence worth.
PS> Cheers to my fellow Kappy friend Karen!
