Hello there. I'm having problems saving the pages as HTML or even plain text, so i can read the several posts at leisure. Wondering if it was just me or something that needs to be looked at by the webmaster?

Fantastic site by the way - thanks so much!

Jules

Hi Jules, glad you like the site. You should be able to click "Save As" on your File menu, and save the HTML page to any directory you want to. If that doesn't work, tell me what's happening and I'll see if I can help you with it.

Greg,

Thanks for you reply - I'm trying to save the pages in the usual way, as you outlined. That wasn't working, hence my post. Is it working for yourself or anyone else? Perhaps it's a setting on my PC, although i'm not having this experience on other sites.

Thanks,
Jules

Hi Jules,
Just thought I'd leave a quick note to say Gregory has been staying with us here and left this evening to go home, he may be a little delayed in replying.....but I know Greg, he will help in any way he can.

P.S. Great to see you again Greg

Great to have some "face time" with you too, Kelly Anne!

Jules, this works normally for me and I can't see anything in the code or pages themselves that should affect it. What exactly is it that happens when you try to save a page normally?

Greg,

Basically i usually save the pages under File, Save as HTML/text. With this site if i open in a wp program, i get a blank page; in Front Page, the templates and the message 'cannot find topform.html". that message is repeated when i open saved pages in NS/IE.

I'm wondering if perhaps it's working for the administrators because they have access to the form plates. I hate being a pain but since I'm not having any other problems elsewhere, this situation may also be the case for later visitors saving for later reading. At the moment, i'm highlighting the text and pasting to Word.

Thanks,
Jules

Ah, okay I see why -- our top menu is in a separate frame, and just that frame is getting saved that way. Your solution of copying and pasting into word works just fine, though ... or you could paste into notepad if you want smaller files.
