I was thrilled to come across the Spring Letter from Linda Goodman and even more sad-glad teary-eyed to see the picture you put there. What GOOD that does to my heart and I am sure many many others, to see a picture of Linda Goodman we have not seen before. I know for mys-elf, in my "researching" at libraries and other places, I would always have to clamp my mouth shut from yelping in blissful exclamation whenever I came across a picture I had not seen before. Anyway, I thank you.

My question is this: would it be possible to post somewhere the background of the picture(s)? Like where it was taken and when? Would that be possible?

This is one of Crystal's favorite photos of Linda and I have to agree.....Linda looks quite lovely.

It was taken at Laguna Beach, we are unsure as to the exact date but Crystal believes it was taken in the early 90's.

I would imagine that she was by the ocean for inspiration.......no doubt writing!!

I'm glad you liked the Spring letter as you can see we are bringing new pieces and photos, so stay tuned

Another question about the picture:
Could you tell me what the date at the bottom of the page refers to? I know the poem was one that was published in both "Venus Trines at Midnight" and "Linda Goodman's Love Poems" but was the rest of it from a letter? And were those really her words?

I don't mean to sound doubtful, I'm just curious.

For a brief period beginning in the late 80's Linda published a semi-regular newsletter called "Star Notes." The spring letter was originally written for her Star Notes of April, 1989.
