ESSENCE........I'm actually back.....and enjoying the air conditioning, while it sizzles outside.....and enjoying the solitude.

My three sons, and two elf children, have all gone camping up north in upper Michigan, and elf mother sits here enjoying the AC...

After having Nichiolas all week, my son Tom and I drove south of Toledo to pick up Tianna, Saturday....so have had a busy week....

I hope they enjoy their camping trip....but I really don't envy them if these temperatures stay up there....of course, they can swim and cool off...gee, reminds me of when I was a kid....of course, we had to watch out for the dinasaurs.....

Anyway sweet Essence........still looking for your photo....where the heck is it? Huh?

To my cheering section of two...... ......I grow weary ladies......I spent a lot of time adding to the TOWER last night...but my computer would NOT let me submit....meaning that I spent a lot of time waiting for what I'd done to go thru, also.......but it would not let me...after hours of trying...my need for sleep sent me to bed.....consequently...all I had written got zapped into cyberspace.....and I had spent literally hours on it...quite discouraging.....I would attempt to try again, except that someone else needs the computer, at this time.......boo hoo....

I need some time to think.....thanks for hanging in there with me.....

Gee Rainbow, I'm so sorry that happened to you -- I know how discouraging that is when you work on something for a long time and then it gets zapped. Sometimes when you work on a reply for a lengthy period, your computer's connection to the forum site "times out," so that when you finally hit Post, it doesn't know where to post it to any more!

One thing I usually do when composing a lengthy message, or one that I have to take my time thinking about, is to compose the message in Windows Notepad first -- then when it's ready to post, I just paste it into the reply box and post it, so the reply box never stays open for too long. That usually works fine, and that way even if your connection DOES get lost, you still have a copy of your message saved in Notepad so you can post it next time you log on, and you don't risk losing it if something flakes out!

Do take your time, dear Rainbow -- no need to get burned out! -- but PLEASE don't get discouraged and give up ... we are all loving your TOWER.

I noticed, and there is no such thing as an "accident" when it comes to beautiful spiritual sharing such as yours. The "diagonal," as you know, is CLIMBING UPWARDS.
Now THAT should convince you once and for all about the direction the path you are leading us on is taking. And don't give me that coy Capricorn, "What? Me? What path?" that you are thinking. Pshaw! Just what other path is a Capricorn stony mountain climber supposed to take. yeah, yeah, yeah. Pisces stellium. Ok, how about this, it's the same direction as a FLYING FISH. They do exist, you know.

My special, precious Knowflake friends........I really appreciate the wonderful, warm, comments......and I'm so glad you don't think I'm crazy for putting it all down......it was fun, time comsuming,and theraputic....

I did want to say that both Tammy, and Petra, and I are on very good terms (they are my elf children's mothers) and Tom and Rob are on good terms with them...as well..

Today is my Stephen's birthday...he is a double Cancer...works at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor...as an admissions counselor..

Strangely, the duchess and I became closer long after my divorce...and were on friendly terms before she passed

My mom has remarried and is very happy (her hubby is almost twenty years younger)....

I see my oncologist every few months and so far everything is good...(but, of course!)...

I listen to Hal almost every day, and have six hours of him on video tape...he IS good medicine.. And Hal is a SAFE person to love...he is a celebrity, and married, and so I can love him unconditionally... All I need to do....is love him...and in return, I get the beautiful music...good deal..

I've also been rereading some chapters in STAR SIGNS...(still trying to figure out the zebra rule with lexigrams).....

And I KNOW there are people here who have led lives, a lot MORE INTERESTING than mine.....they're just not goofy enough to "flash" everybody with it all... But Essence says she thinks a biography thread would be a good idea, too...for those who'd like to share...and I would love to hear about all of you...

I heard one lady, an admirer of John's, say, on the news, that Jackie had lost her baby.....actually, it is now that she HAS her baby....Caroline has been left alone....I'm happy that she has her husband and children......but still, it has to be such a painful time, for her....

I had a writing project to do over the weekend,however,the News about the loss of these three young people made it impossible to think of anything else other than to Pray for their safety...sadly this was not to be...Tragedy such as this makes one realize just how fragile is the thread of life ...and how important it is to appreciate each day and every one to the fullest...to let those close to us know how much we LOVE them by caring,and sharing...to resist anger and resentment and to remember how important it is to have a family.
One thing that is incredibly obvious to all of us, watching the families involved in this tragedy..is the importance of family and FAITH ...both of which the Kennedy clan have an abundance.
On Breakfast television this morning the reporter mentioned this quote from Joe Kennedy .."When the young bury the old, it is part of life, part of the cycle...but when the old bury their young,..it leaves a void that can never be filled...

I too have been thinking of the Kennedys and
praying for this family. I watched "48
Hours" last night and listened to Ed Koch (wasn't he mayor for just ever, huh Essence dear !! ) talk about the tragedy. What kills me is the potential when I see such young people die, similar to Lady Di. I think that is where some of the pain comes from. And the Kennedys being something of our own American "Royal Family", we watch them so. Did that make sense ?? Anyway, my prayers are with the Kennedys and the Bissetts as well, for they lost two of their lovely young ladies.

Crystal......that was so well written....about the Kennedys.......but I believe, their spirits are together now...and Carolyn's parents were of the opinion that they were soul mates...and Carolyn is also with her sister.....

Caroline...the only survivor of the first family, certainly has to feel a terrible loss....but fortunately for her, she has her husband and children....

well Knowflakes.....over the weekend this pc will be in use by a teen ager....and next week, I will have two elf children with me, so I may not get on the site to say hello to you all, and read all the knowflake things you have to say....but I'll be back....soon...
