How do I go about patronizing the Linda Store for Linda books which are not avaliable there?

I want to have a copy of Love Signs sent to my Libra friend who has a birthday soon. Also, in the next Episode of Cybersybils, Madeline mentions the book Star Signs, and I had hoped to link right to the Linda Store url where the book is located.

Neither book appears to be stocked.

I am imagining that this is an issue beyond the typical "we ran out" answer. Do plans exist to get all the Linda titles, or at least these two, in the near or possibly very near future? I just really don't like patronizing places like amazon.com, nor would I ever link to the pic they have of Star Signs. Just looking for some ideas...and MORE BOOKS!!

Hi Carlo, thanks for wanting to support the site with your book purchases ... for the present time, the titles published by Hampton Roads (Gooberz and Venus Trines) are the only ones we actually stock and sell directly from the LindaStore. You CAN order her other books through us, but the way we do that is through a link to Amazon.com that gives the site a small commission when people link there from here and order a book. (If you don't like patronizing Amazon, that may not be good news ...)

You can get to those links from the relevant book pages on the site -- e.g., if you click on "Writings" on the main menu, then go to "Sun Signs," you will find a link on the Sun Signs page that says "Buy this book." Clicking on that link will take you to the Amazon.com order page for Sun Signs, and if you order from there we will earn a small commission for the referral.

We may very well decide to stock and sell all of Linda's books directly in the future, but for the time being the cost and space requirements for stocking enough copies to qualify as a direct distributor are just more than we can afford, so this is our best alternative for the moment.

Got it. Thanks Greg. It's not like I have some huge aversion to amazon, it's just that I prefer to buy from you. So if you do get a small cut if I go through the Store, then that is better than nothing, if I went to amazon myself.

Also, I would like to get a picture of Linda. So a suggestion that I would make is this: can you put up a page at this site, something like "Linda Photo Gallery", that will contain pictures of Linda that we will be allowed to copy? I intend to put up a picture of Linda in the next Episode on CybSybs, because she is mentioned as is the book Star Signs. It will probably be a one-shot deal, as in, we have no plans to make a Linda shrine or anything. So rather than go look on ebay or something, or appropriate a pic without permission, I am asking if LGE would allow us, via a page on the site, to come and be able to have a pic or two of our Greatest Teacher I guess what I am saying is that while I am far more sensitive now to your concerns about copyright protection since the site first opened, I will respect them as best as I can, yet I would still like some ability to get a picture or two of Linda without running afoul of laws, rules, requests, or feelings. I hope I am not sounding too convoluted, yet I think you know what I'm saying Greg. I thought of a private email to you, yet this is probably okay, since I am here anyway Again, just a suggestion to help us all grow

Dear Gali, since Carlo is not here at the moment, please allow me to try and relate how to use italics, as its something I've been practicing, as if you might not have noticed.

As our wise Web Master taught:

This word is in italics.

is done by writing: This word is in italics.

Now, I'm just figuring that perhaps, after all you may need Carlo, in fact, you may need Greg to write this out for you so it makes sense.

Humbly, just plain not wise enough!!
