Mermaid my friend--I am so glad to see you here. Yes the site has indeed changed but I truly thought it was me.
I have not been here long enough to judge--but the place has had me biting my lip.

My family is undergoing so many changes because of my Daughters ----behavior at church------my church does not feel the same either.
I am not unhappy ---not really. Depressed maybe ---

I do not understand what "aspects" are enough to be sure of your question. But I do know that Pluto was in Virgo at my birth---so it certainly makes sense that I am changeing the way I think and react to stuff.

My kids especially. This time has altered how I "Mom" my kids. and how I feel about my religious world as well.
When this place changed too---I just put it down to more that I needed to learn.

But I was suprised at how I reacted to the "hate that sign thread".
I jumped in---made a few wise cracks ---jumped out and hated myself for putting myself down to a bunch of strangers who appeared to be out to better themselves at the expense of others.
I know that is not what the thread was intended for----but it turned into that anyway.

I do not have room in my head for mean people right now---I feel I have so much to think about and I just do not have the time.

So it was depressing that at this time when my church no longer gives me the spiritual motivation I need to face the world with my head held high---the site went all icky and high falutin'.
That's why I thought it was all just me.
I'm tired. I am over sensitive. I am dealing with a suprise wound to my soul ( from my CHURCH! )--I told myself to lighten up.
But I do not think I listened.
Probably is'nt on my list till the next page.
Anyway I'll be alright--and I will learn from it---and I will be a better human being in spite of it all.
And the next time some planet goes retrograde---I am not going whining to Dave to say "oh how will affect ME!?"
I'll shut up and learn.
well--I'll at least learn

as I pass you a cookie, they are very hgood ya know...the stars are beautiful out there tonight, and the sunrise.. ahhh such sweetness. definitely one to enjoy and relish....

Just got back from my son's wedding in Florida, so here's a big hunk of wedding cake for everyone to share. The wedding was held on the beach in Seaside Florida (the odd little Disneyland-like community where The Truman Show was filmed). Tracy was beautiful and Jason was so handsome, and the setting could hardly have been more inspiring: the dome of heaven for a cathedral ceiling, and the endless ocean for an altar. I'll post some pictures soon.

I surprised myself by actually crying at the ceremony! It was great too to have all of the kids together at one time and place, a rare occurrence these days! My, how "time" flies ...

But I'm glad to be home again!

I didn't intend to post anything today. I tried reading some of the other threads and came here to check into what I thought would be an empty hotel before I shut the computer off and went to work in the yard. I am so thankful that I did and I am so grateful to find the Magic is still here. I found tears in my eyes when I realized how much I had missed you all. It seems we all have had an over dose of reality and now it is time to get back in touch with the wonders of our special friendships. I'm afraid I didn't bring anything with me but my own sorrow this time. As some of you know, I have been living with my daughter and son-in-law the past 3 years. My son-in-law (friend) died on the 21st of a heart attack. He was only 35 years old and we thought he was in good health. He is still with us in Spirit. I think I will talk him into taking a little trip here with me so he can feel the Loving healing vibes too. I know you would like him. Every body did.

Thank you all for keeping the hotel open for business. I truly needed the warmth of the fire and all the LOve that goes with it. I'll be back soon. My beautiful white roses are starting to bloom and I'll bring the first one that opens with me.

Very sorry for your lose and sadness. Out of doors in the open is a good place to be with such feelings.
I have roses growing also. I can hardly wait until June. They smell so good. I cut off the stems and float them in a bowl on the table so that they can be moved around with my finger as I think about things.

I know it must be hard for you to come to terms with. A sudden passing at such an early age seems so ... unnatural ... even though everything happens for a reason, it's hard to fathom the reasons for things like this. I'm glad you found your way back here. Rest a spell and feel the love and caring surround you.

Hello, my wonder filled friends! It took me a few minutes to wipe the tears from my eyes before I could talk to you all. They aren't tears of sorrow this time. I'm rather sentimental and tend to cry when especially nice things happen. The LOve I find here makes me cry for happy.

I would like to introduce you to a friend of mine. When I told Robby that the Honorable Gregory had invited him, he knew it was a must that he come along. He even brought Triped along with him. She was a great hunting dog who didn't let the fact that she lost a leg slow her down one little bit. She past over to the other side a couple of months before Robby did. She's off playing with a kitten right now. Robby used to tease me about how I was becoming a computer "nerd" but I think he understands a lot better now. Hope you don't mind, Dani, but I loaned him our Angel Feather blanket. He promises to return it when he doesn't need it any more. He wants it to be here if any one else needs it. He has always been such a thoughtful Soul. He said to tell you that the fire is so cheerful that it warmed him to the tips of his toes.

You are so right, proximoon, about the out doors being such a good place to heal. I spent most of the day yesterday out there working in the garden. My roses haven't opened up yet but when they do, I'll have to bring a crystal bowl filled with water with the rose. Then we all can share the healing experience of a floating rose. And, Lori, the rose of LOve you sent me was simply beautiful. It took my breath away.

You know, Gregory, if it weren't for Linda's wisdom, this would be much harder for me than it is. I have no idea what the reason was, but I do know there's a reason for every thing. We will just have to allow it to be a Mystery for now. We have our sad moments. Like when I remembered how Robby teased me that I'd never get anything to grow in the spot I chose for my vegie garden and now he wont be here to eat strawberries fresh from the garden with us. I wonder if Linda ever figured out why sad rymes with glad.

Ooops. Robby wandered off and he is looking at a distant star. I don't know if he is ready to leave yet, but I must show him the garden out back before he even thinks about leaving this Magical palace. He tells me that I must tell you all that he is very grateful for your LOving hospitality and he wants to get him a cup of tea before we go sit in the garden for a while.

Hello you LOverly people. I don't have a lot of time tonight, but had to drop in for a few minutes. Robby and I had a wonderful talk in the garden last night. He is amazed at all the LOve he found here. He was thinking of playing with the stars for a while, but changed his mind for now. He wants to stick around long enough to think of something to do for the hotel. He is a very handy man to have around. He loves fixing things. He also loves your tea, cobwebsoul. He said to tell you that it is almost as good as the tea my daughter used to make for him, and that is a real compliment. Silly guy still thinks he needs to diet, so he hasn't tried the cookies and cake yet. Said that all he needed was a sprig of mint in his tea. It flabberghasted him that you would name a rose after him, Dani. He was just learning to appreciate roses before he passed over and now some one a sweet as you is naming one after him. He is honored.

Well, I gotta run for now. Don't worry if you hear a little banging and hammering. It will only mean that he has found something to repair. We both thank you for the LOving Welcome.

I just dropped in for a minute on my way to finish weeding my little garden out back. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I saw that cookie. How delightful! It truly hit the spot.

I only saw Robby for a minute. He has a tool box in hand and wont even tell me what he is up to. He wants to know how you knew that purple was his color. Would you believe he even had a purple semi? The rose is perfiect and he said to tell you, "Thank you."

Been so blooming busy I haven't had time to drop in. First thing I did was go check the garden out back. What a Magical place this is! The world I live in is suffering a heat wave and I had best get out there and water all my plant friends. But not here, the garden out back is lush as usual. The rain was gently falling when I was back there and Mother Earth was wearing her best perfume. I get rejuvinated every time I return.

Robie isn't here any more. He really intended to do some work around here, but he was interupted. His Soul was called some where else, but he asked me to tell you how much his visit here meant to him. Claims he wouldn't have progressed as fast without the Spiritual lift this place gave him. I, too, thank you all for the love you sent his way. It meant a lot to both of us.
