Dear Cobwebsoul, You have a very good point, I have the problem all of the time, including remembering to whom I am writing the message. LOL I hesitated to ask Greg, because I was always having trouble posting my message or messing up my password or something else I was bothering him about, so I have never asked. At least in e-mail I can go back and look at the message although webtv doesn't make it easy. Maybe there is a secret way to access the messages while we are writing. The only alternative I know is to print it out and that usually is impossible, because the threads are so long. So I'm with you cobwebsoul. Greg, is there any easier way to do this? Love, Dolphin2

Here I am! Actually, there are two ways of viewing the previous messages while you are posting a reply. The simplest way is to simply scroll down to below the reply box (below the buttons that say Submit Reply and Clear Fields. You will see a box that says REVIEW TOPIC, and that box lets you scroll through the entire thread. Now on some older browsers (and this MAY be true on Web-TV, Dale) that box is either unavailable or it may be inconvenient to see it while you're replying. If that's the case then the other thing you can do is to open up a second copy of the browser (just click on your Internet icon again) and bring up the thread you are replying to in the second browser -- then you can switch back and forth between the two as needed. Now if none of that made sense, please let me know! Love, Greg

Hi Greg, There is nothing except, Submit Reply and Clear Fields shown and no way to scroll further down. Also with WebTv, you don't click on any icons. Once you switch from the televsion programming to WebTv you re on the Internet. Without you being able to see how this works, it probably isn't clear to you. In previous instructions you have given, I reognize what you have said based on my prior use of a computer, but I have never been on the internet with a computer. Now my WebTv Terminal and Keyboard are only five months old and were the newest at that time, but there are others manufactured by different companies, so maybe mine doesn't have the features needed, which is frustrating, of course. I will just have to keep doing it the hard way. Sounds like my life, doesn't it? LOL Love, Dolphin2

DaleLouise, I have WebTV, too. The "Review Topic" will sometimes come up and sometimes not. But, in our case it would bring us to a different page and then you have to hit the "back" key to get back to the message you are writing.
