Boy it is sure nice to be back, I am so glad freebird stopped in to water things up, the heat wave has done a lot of us in on the outside, crops are suffering, tempers are raising..but I just happened to fade off into my mind frame and remember the place we all had built, the one place we all had to go that made us feel so very good.. so I came back to checkin for a little bit.. Baybe has has little ones so their house is also filling up, took in a rescue that was pretty bad off, and he is doing so much better.. My lifes turns are ever so changing, and I have to keep remembering that I am a double Aries, so I am full of new beginings...travel has been ever so rampant, and I do apologize for not being around as often as I would like, But I shall go where my life lessons lead me,... but for now a bit of rest and relaxation seems to be in order.. I will pull up by the fire, and heat me up some tea, maybe the smells will bring back others to the place we all left a long time ago... I look up and see the books, so nicely covering the wall.. I pull down one of the Gooberz books and curl up by the fire.. it is so very peaceful here....that is what i needed.. I will be here for a few more days.. so come on in and sit a spell with me.. lets throw the fairy dust and ride the tails..

Australdi, come on in and join us.. the tea is hot.. and I brought some sugar and cream for those that want it "english style" and I found some heart shaped cookies that gregory dropped off... Nephthys, no they are not bats.. yes they are our pets.. they are marsupials.. that originated in Australia.. but most of the ones we have here in the states are from New Guinea, New Zealand or Tazmania.. most now are Stateside borne. Very cool pets if researched properly..let me see if I can explain this...the american way... they are the size of a chipmunk, they have the markings of a badger, the eyes of a opossum, the ears of a bat, they have hands like us, feet like a monkeys, teeth like a snake, a tail like a monkey, a gliding membrane like a flying squirrel, a pouch like a kangaroo.. they bark like a puppy, purr like a kitten, hiss like a snake, chatter like a squirrel, and sound like a locust when they are scared...they have the attention needs of an infant child, the curiosity of a toddler, and the personality of a teenager..Once they trust you, they bond with their main caregiver and can live up to 15 years in captivity... There is a long list of downsides as well..my Baybe does go everywhre with me, including restaurants and she has been to disneyworld.. and always accompanies me here to the hotel.. she loves the sisle walls, and the high rafters.. I do not use leases or any pouches that seal..she stays with me out of love.. I do have a pic of her on my webpage gliding.. I normally don't trust her around other animals.. but the ones here at the hotel are very special..as are all the guests...

Hi Lori, Hi everyone I saw your light on and thought I'd drop in. I've brought some fudge to go with the tea, I think you guys call them Brownies. Wow this place is so comfy...thanks for the tea,... lovely and a sheepskin rug by the fire to sit on...scrumptious! Ahhhh....what a lovely way to relax after a hard day of work. Oh I almost forgot; I brought Springs first blossoms too, Daffodils, Prunus blossums and extra special Wattle blossums (straight from Aus) as well as some Daphne. Can you smell them? Living in the Southern hemisphere does have some advantages... Don't mind me if I go all quiet, I'm just so relaxed and I love to sit and listen to your conversations. The cadences are so soothing... enjoy the fudge Di XX

Lori, Yes, I went to those websites and saw their picture, and they looked kind of like a bat in those pictures. Wow! I love animals and it's neat to find out about ones I never heard of!! I wonder how that name originated. Thanks!

Oh, listen to the rythem of the falling rain. Don't you just LOVE it? The smell of rain harmonizes with the perfume of the flowers and goes right to my head. Could heaven have anything more loverly to offer? Those Lavender Lace Roses are more precious than gold, especially when they come from some one as sweet and thoughtful as our Dani. A gift that warms me to my very soul. Thank you, Dear Heart. It is so good to see this place filling up again with so many of my old friends. And we even have a new visitor. A hearty welcome to you, Australdi. How nice of you to come here and share your Magic with us. The way you talk about Australia made me miss it and I've never even been there. I had dropped by to do a little dusting and check on the garden out back and you can't imagine how happy I was to find that Lori had opened the doors and polished off the welcome mat. I ran back to the garden and picked some of the mint I had planted last Spring. I left a bowl of leaves right next to the tea Pisces brewed for us just in case any one would like to float them in their tea cup. I even found some honey out there that some very specail busy bees left for us. It's the best honey I have ever tasted. If you all will excuse me, I think I will go out in the garden for a while and watch the rain fall from Father Sky. I do believe I will take a cup of tea and a brownie with me. I love brownies that are still a bit warm from the oven. I can tell that these were made with love. Magic moments to ALL Freebird

Hi Everyone!!!! *big silly grin---carrying an armload* I brought a Birdbath for the garden Freebird planted!! And you see these little rocks here? I will arrange these on one side so that the smaller birds can have a shallow end to play in. It seemed like just the right thing! I can't stay long as I am in the world of wheels and music tonight------but I DO have time for a spot of tea. Oh Freebird this mint is wonderful!. I must tell you--*shy *---My Mom always called me 'our Dani'----when I heard those words from you---they touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. That is more special to me than you knOw. I think about you a lot---and I have missed you these last months. I hope you are walking the path of healing and not finding yourself alone to walk. Three steps forward and two steps back---that's always how it's been for me. I'm glad you like the flowers. *tears up again* Blessings on you my friend. Love, Dani

Well, what do you know! It looks like it stopped raining. The air smells so fresh and clean here. All of the plants in the garden are wearing smiley faces. I'm not sure if it's because of the refreshing rain or the Birdbath. Probably both. That was so thoughful of you, Dani. I can't imagine why I never thought of it. I have one in my rose garden at home and it wouldn't be the same with out it. Next time I come here I'll ask my little Goldfinches if any of them want to come with me. I'm sure I'll get at least a few volunteers. For some reason, our yard has been full of them this year. But I hope to keep my favorite bird right here. I don't even know what kind of bird he is, but he's such a little clown. He likes to perch on the edge of the bird feeder and hang upside down. He had me laughing first thing this morning. I just have to share the strangest thing that happened to me this morning. A marvelous thunder storm rolled in about 5 o'clock this morning and woke me up. I couldn't get back to sleep, so I decided to get up and go out on the balcony and watch the storm for a while. I sat down on the rocker and looked up and the sky and I could have sworn I saw the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland smiling at me. I was sitting there wondering about my sanity when a cloud floated by the Moon that is nearly new. I sat there gazing at it for a while and then it really got strange. Mind you, this is durning a thunderstorm and the only part of the sky that was clear was around the Moon. Then the smile started fading exactly the way the Cheshire Cat's smile faded in Disney's movie. What a way to start a day!!! Yes, Dear Heart, we are healing. Every now and then we go through our moments of great sadness, but for the most part, we are doing just fine. We can still feel Robie's presence, but it's not nearly as strong as it was when he first passed over. He seems to drop by and check on us every once in a while. We get the feeling that he is very busy doing what ever it is he is supposed to be doing on the other side and that he has adjusted quite well. My daughter said that she saw his face in her mind as she was waking up the other morining and he was laughing. It's nice to know that he has kept his sence of humor. Australdi, do tell your Mum that I loved her brownies. She must be a very special woman to make brownies with just the right amount of love. Not over powering, but ever so warm and sweet. Oh, oh. No time to say Hello/Goodbye. I'm late, I'm late, I'm late. PS I missed you too. Freebird

--Is the little bird that hangs upside down about the size of a sparrow only thinner? Does he have a white belly with grey and black wings---kind of a pointy beak and looks a little flat headed? It's what flashed through my mind---and that would be a white-breasted nuthatch. They love to eat upside down---and once they know you --they are quite bold. His cousin the Red Breasted nuthatch has patches of rust just along side the bottom of his wings. Have the Robins shown up down there?---they have already left here and that is a good month early. I love their morning song. I'm glad you are feeling better. hi to everyone!!!Thanks for the goodies!!!! Love, Dani

Hi Ho Dani! Well, now I know what kind of bird he is. You discribed him perfectly. He is such a pretty combination of white, black and grey. Did you see the word "nut" pop right out of his name? He certainly is a little nut case. And he does allow me to get closer than most birds do. Think I'll start calling him my little nut. I bet he likes it. I haven't noticed any Robins of late. They aren't at the bird feeder. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for them. The finches and Cardinals are in control of the feeder. Maybe there isn't enough room for them. I also have a bunch of Humming birds that hang out between their feeder and the Mimosa tree. I love watching them. Hope you don't mind, but I brought a crystal bowl filled with water and cut a three Lavender roses to float in it. I thought three was a nice number being that it vibrates to the same tune as Jupiter. I sat it on a table right by the door so it could bless every one as they enter. May the Blue Bird of Happiness cast it's spell on you. Freebird
