No wonder I had such a good time when I rode her! There seemed to be a kindred Spirit thing going there and now I know why. I meant to tell you that she reminded me a lot of a Unicorn. She also reminded me a lot of my beloved dog, a white Spitz that went by the name of Pumpkin. My Pumpkin is in Spirit now. Silly little floosie, she had a heart attack chasing a male, white, miniture Poodle. She was so old she couldn't have done anything with him if she had caught him, but that didn't stop her from having her fun. She taught me a lot about love. I want to make sure this Pumpkin knows that I didn't mind the speed one little bit. For a moment there, it felt like we levitated and were flying. Don't tell any one, but I do love speed. I no sooner learned to drive and went drag racing. I was fearless, but did scare the daylights out of some others. I still can't bear to do the speed limit when I drive. But, horses are even better than a car. I don't get to feel the same Spiritual connection with a machine. How wonderful that you got to meet some one as special as Kim Black. Don't you just love it when you meet some one so talented and famous to find out that they are also truely nice people? It also helps to see proof that nice people don't always finish last. Hope you have a real good time on your trip. I'll miss you while you are gone, but I promise to bring pleanty of treats and attention for both of your friends. I'll try to watch the dobbermann, but I have a feeling that he needs to learn a lesson as much as Pumpkin wants to teach him a lessson. I'm sure she wont hurt him while she's getting the best of him. And, if you find you can't eat all of that lobster, bring me a doggie bag. My very favorite food it lobster drenched in real butter with just a hint of garlic added. See you when you get back. Freebird; I so agree with you that Damon needs to learn a lesson from pumpkin...but I worry he might get hurt He usually gets shut in the car for ten minutes when he gets too boisterous around her...so far it seems to give him the message I laughed when you told the story of your pumpkin...she seemed like such a character ...I've lost pets before, but it is so nice to have wonderful, funny memories of them like that Tassie has been postponed for three days now as our laptops are not ready yet...but I'm sure I'll bring back lots of lobster to share around...Hmmm, butter and garlic...sounds absolutely scrumptious!!...I never thought of that...we usually just dip it in vinegar down here. I am definatley going to try it your way though! Diet can start next fortnight!! oh! now it's 11 days without you guys!! I don't know how I will survive!! ...There's somthing about this place that's magnetic!! love Aus

Just dropped by to play in the fairy dust for a few minutes and give you the latest up date on how to eat lobster. I was talking to a friend about eating lobster and he said that he puts a little garlic powder in his butter too, but he also adds a wee bit of sea salt and pepper. Can't wait to try it for myself. I'll be waiting to hear all about your trip when you get back. Hope it's not all work and no fun. A person needs to keep a healthy balance in their life. God's Speed Freebird

Freebird, I had a wonderfull trip...the weather was mostly good, it was long days, and nights, but I had two days off down there with my friend, and today I went out riding for five hours with her step daughter, along the beach...then I had to race off to the airport to catch my flight home, still smelling of horse and sea! I am very happy...and very tired... and I have so much to tell, so many native animals that I saw and the rugged beauty of the areas I travelled through.. and the wines that I tasted..and...and..I will have to save it all, as I combined a lot of work with almost as much play, and sleep was the sacrifice... ...my batteries have almost run out. ...I'll just fill this room with furry, friendly wallabies and curl up and catch some zzzz's ufortunately crayfish wasn't available as the quotas had been met...but I ate heaps of prawns (shrimps) yummmie...in garlic cream sauce!

Hearty Hi, Australdi! Have you caught up on your rest yet? Damon and Pumpkin missed you, I could tell, but I'm sure they are just as glad as I am that you had such a nice trip. I'm sure you will be glad to hear that Pumpkin was on her best behavior while you were gone and Damon still has both of his ears. I thought she was going to nibble on them once, but she was only teasing. I brewed up a special pot of herbal tea for you so help yourself and tell me all about your adventure. Freebird

Yo, cobwebsoul. Where you been? Bet you've been out riding a comet's tail. Maybe now that Mercury is direct and begining to pick up some speed Australdi will feel more like chatting. Think I'll go find a nice warm spot near the fire and relax for a while. Check out the kitchen when you get back. Some one left us a nice pot of hot chocolate and a bag of those tiny marshmellows. I wonder if that could have been our friend Gregory. Sounds like something he would do. Happy Trails. Freebird

Where is every body? I had to go back 60 days before I found our Magical Hotel. I guess all of you have been as busy as I have been. I moved back to Arkansas last month and was without a computer until my darling daughter gave me one for Christmas. Isn't she a wonder? Makes me wonder what I ever did to deserve her in my life. I did keep myself busy for a while. Even if I had a computer, I wouldn't have had the time to visit. I returned to this house after a four year absence and I do believe there were four years worth of cob webs waiting for me. First there was all the cleaning to be done and then the painting. And through it all, a million and one candles to be lit. My house is so happy to have me back that I can actually hear it smile. I spotted a few cob webs here too. Feather duster in hand, I am off to lite a fire and stir up the fairy dust. I'll put on a pot of tea for any one who wants to join me. Hope to see you soon. Love and Laughter, Freebird

I drop off my problems in the barrel and enter the door, although a bit dusty, I spend some time cleaning up and dropping fairy dust all around. The plants needed some water so I water them with the liquid love from the spicket. and stir up the coals, .. light a warm fire and step out side. Since I haven't been around in awhile I may as well go ahead and tidy up the garden some, and clean off the cobblestone path..
I light the fire and set out some cookies for any future visitors, brew up some tea and sit back with Pencil and paper. I figure If someone should happen along, maybe I can leave a note for them, and they too will see the life this old place used to have in it. The dreams of tomorrow and the savoring of today. and maybe how this old hotel used to be such a wonderful refuge for many of us on our journeys.
Baybe is still in my pocket, although we lost her cage mate at the age of 11 a few months ago, we are getting along. now with the new grandbaby's to light our future. We go through each day with rays of sunshine in our lives.
~ Virgin Moon ~ (my daughter) has blessed me these last couple of years, with children who have made it a point to include me in their birth plans.
Rachael Dawn was born on my birthday (3/28)in 2003 and she now has a beautiful brother to accompany her through her childhood years. although born on 6/9 he did wait until 3:28 pm to be born. 2 heart felt gifts from the newest souls that entered my life. I live a much more calm and relaxed life now, not getting to see them often, but making the best of it we can.
The last time I was here, I had a song stuck in my head... that song stayed for several years, but finally (imagine old stubborn me) finally I listened. I now take the time to walk into the garden, I smell each and every flower, rejoice in the smells of brewing tea, and those little cookies on the table. I stick my hand out to the little butterflys that surround the hedges, and look up at the comet and remembering the tail.. and how much fun we shared riding on it.
I revisited the hotel in my memories and my dreams many times, and once in awhile, I must come back, and re-read from the beginning, how we all started it, how we all pulled together and created the sanctuary for many generations to come.
The next time I come, I will bring my little rachael with me, so she can share the goodness and purity of the special online hotel. I will read her the story from beginning to end, and explain to her, that the hotel has no end, it will be up to her to also visit, and also stop in once in awhile to say hi, and clean up the place, make some fresh tea, and leave the place looking good for any future souls to stay. But along with that, she must leave a dream or two, live it out, and be sure that others can share it as well.
as I lay the pages for others to read, I get up and put out the fire, turn off the tea, and leave the smells of pure essence in the air. I walk out the door, and decide to replace the doorknobs, with huge hearts of love.
As I walk down the path, I hope others enjoy the great place the online hotel is.

Hi Lori! Nice place. Love the lobby! Which way to check-in? I just moved to this cute 2 bedroom apartment, which has recently been renovated by a construction company. While they were wrapping up some of the work, I asked one of the owners of the construction company what year the building was built. I figured they had to have to pull permits at city hall so he would probably know. And I was curious because I live in a historic town on the river & I was wondering about the pipes and my water quality. So on with the story...he told my that one half of the building was the original post office in town and that the half I live in was actually the original hotel in town and my apartment is actually made up of a few different hotel rooms. A couple days later I was talking to one of the old-timers down at the bar about the building I live in and he said...um, how can I phrase this? Uhhmmm, that back then a hotel was kind of another name for and often also served as a brothel. If my walls could talk. And just weird how I alway seem to end up in some hotel one way or another. Even if the hotel I live in now was "back in time." "My brothers' lives were different for they heard another call One went to Chicago and the other to St. Paul And I'm in Colorado when I'm not in some hotel Living out this life I've chose and have come to know so well" --Dan Fogelberg/The Leader of the Band Album: The Innocent AgeLOve & LIght, Stephanie
