Sweet heart please calm down. It's a storm in a teacup and will be over in a day or two. It's just turned into a little green goop soup. A little time and patience on both sides will go a long way ...? Perhaps?

May I suggest that you imagine that you're walking in the others' shoes and they don't quite fit right. The world looks a little different but hear the essence of what they are saying rather than any of the harsher words they used.

Chill for a wee while and see what happens. A wee bit of give and take form all will resolve the issue far faster than stamping feet and making a big hallaballo.

I DO hope this helps and doens't cause more porblems - it's not intended to cause any offense.

As a new member, I have come across this arguement between Ursulescu and Daisygoogoo. Although it is highly questionable as to how they both tried to resolve their differences, it was very nice of you to clarify the definition of plagerism to everyone.

I would suggest you save that in your computer for future reference in case it reappears somewhere else in this site.

I think that the actions of Ursulescu should be examined and understood. I believe his motives were pure, but at that point in time, he may have not realized his mistakes.

The current school systems doesn't really explain plagerism in it's entirety. In fact, a lot of colleges and institutions ENCOURAGE it in one form or another. So Ursulescu may not have realized he was comitting a crime until it was clearly defined by you in your last posting.

I have made some suggestions for both Daisygoogoo and Ursulescu as well as the entire room at that thread. I was quite disgusted at the approaches of Daisygoogoo, Australdi, Tish, and Proxymoron, especially where he calls Ursulescu a "Sick little boy". If Ursulescu is trying to recover from depression as he stated, this negative feedback could produce detrimental effects for him. I say this because a cousin of mine went through it and that is what the psychologist told durring his treatment. Such attitudes can seriously harm not only Ursulescu, but this entire fourm if not monitored and corrected. I am sure you are aware of that, and I don't judge you, simply warning you and offering suggestions instead.

If we are to carry on our respectability in these fourms, perhaps some people could be appointed as "monitors" to keep the piece as I am sure there are too many threads to maintain.

Please take a moment to view what I placed there and consider my thoughts. If you wish to copy what I wrote into your computer for the next time things get out of control, by all means do so and re-post it wherever needed. Thank you.

You seem to ask us not to judge Trevor, yet you are making some very hasty judgments about the rest of us here. As you said on the other thread, you are quite new here. Perhaps it is a better show of humility to keep your assumptions to yourself until you have gotten to know everyone better and have a clearer idea of how this forum operates.
I cannot speak for the others here (as you have tried to do on the other thread) but my own opinion is that you are biting off more of your own foot than you can chew with all this preaching and lecturing you are doing.

Ursulescu is doing what he can to get better. He is taking steps to remidy his faults. Why don't you accept this and move on? Not only this, but he modified his article to view his own thoughts, NOT YOURS. I have seen it myself. (I kept the link in my computer.) You are GONE!

Now his article #4 reflects his OWN views. You squawked and got your head cut off. Admit it, grow up, and quit waisting everyone's time with the past.

Besides this, you still haven't learned to treat people in a nice way because you made harmful comments about me too, a person trying to calmy and cooly eleviate a problem and help a fellow spiritual brother to his senses. Not only this, but a new person too. Has your pain moved you to try and pull out the cornerstone of Babylon itself? What benifit will this bring you? You will only get killed in the avalanche of falling rubble.

Ursulescu is not some raving lunitic, but a guy continually walking into the light of the rest of the world. He is coming through the door, why do you persist on slamming it in his face over a few words that no longer exist? Let him pass through. Maybe someday someone will do the same for you when you screw up.

Ursulescu will progress to a point of superior kindness if you just let him. Consider that. You may even be helping a great man to an understanding he is missing now. Forgive and forget or forever stay spiteful. the choice is yours. Just figure out which one you are comfortable in and stick to it.

And to be honset with you, in case you have't noticed, no one likes a whinner!

Well I seem to think there are a lot of issues here that Gregory (since he is the owner of the site) must work out..
1. The ownership of the posts.. since they are on LG site, techniqually they belong to lg site.. however, also included in the that ownership , you have the ownership of the person making the post..
I have published works, as well as am mod on a site very similar to this.. although it is for the public.. it is up to the descretion of the site owner as to the posts, whether they stay, go, need edited etc.. If the site feels that the post is in fact a way to start distention, then the site owner upon descretion can delete the post.. now the question comes in as to whether someone can use those posts to make money on? Place on their site? modified or otherwise. The answer would be, just like the papers, NOT without the owners permission or proper credit given as in acknowledgements..Often used in Research Material.
2. Is this a public site? yes is it a "PUBLIC" base? now that question lies with the definition of "public".. This Base is different than some other bases in that you MUST register to utilize it. so does that make it public? The TV, newspapers are "public" medias. but they have guidelines that must be followed. If someone was to do what was done here previously with an article, it would be contrued as plagerism, also copyright violation..
3. Although we know the world has access to this info.. do we now have to watch what we say in each post? Do we now start to worry that our info is just a stroke away from being published on other sites? Is this what this base was intended to be? I always thouht it was a place for free thoughts.. for us to read, answer, help, guide.. etc.. now must we concern ourselves with where our posts may end up?
4. the anger that was shown on the past threads were justified..In every sense of the word. To just let live and go on as if nothing had happened would have been fine, but the return posts said it is still the same, (some mods, but still the same). So now the excuse is what?

I can tell you, that I now will keep my posts very short, very shallow and very guarded..
I think these issues are very valid, and to be honest very scarey..I don't think Urs really intended to find out the answers before the site thing.. as I have seen this many times before. and to take the thoughts of ours and put it somewhere else, I believe was a deliberate act..

Belshazzar, if you're "sorry to be so critical" why do you keep doing it, at such great length? It is not very persuasive to urge kindness and tolerance while telling the injured party to "grow up" and "get over [her]self," or to tell her to "quit wasting everyone's time with the past" while you keep making long posts on the subject yourself.

Daisy, I've searched the threads and removed all the links I have found. If you notice any others that I've missed, please call them to my attention.

Now to everyone, to be frank I am very upset that people are not respecting my request to stop arguing about this issue on the forums. The issue is settled. Ursulesco improperly copied material from posts here and published them with only minor changes under his own name. That was wrong, he has been told so, and the links that allowed him to profit from that action have been removed from this site. That is all we can do.

As to Ursulescu's character, personality and motivations, that could be debated endlessly BUT IT WILL NOT BE DEBATED HERE, BECAUSE PERSONALITY DEBATES ARE CONTRARY TO THE POLICY OF THIS FORUM. Such debates can never resolved and only harm the forums by encouraging and continuing hostile exchanges.

Now I ask everyone once more to PLEASE put an end to this issue. A wrong was committed, it has been identified and addressed, and that's that. Please do not allow this to keep dragging on and bringing down the happy energy of our site. Thank you all for understanding.
