I have to wait though, because I have to make a payment on my credit card for it to be accepted. An I have scheduled a trip for the next ten days.

Can I sign on September16? Is there any limit date or number of students?

You bet, you can sign up anytime up until the course starts and no, there's no real limit on the number of students. The class discussions are held on a private forum (similar to these, but limited to course students only), so people can tune in and out when they like, and choose their own study hours.

The only books you'll need for the course are an ephemeris and table of houses ... you can pick those up in advance if you want, but we won't actually need them in class until lesson six, around the end of October.

He is doing Ok, but I changed for the better. At the beginning it was difficult for both of us. But I realized I was letting things that were not ok for me. And I just couldn't handle that anymore. Now I am asking and giving my opinion. I am not accepting things just to please him.

It would be very dificult for me to find the ephemerides and book of houses here in Guatemala.
Do you think I can buy them in Miami?,
are they sold on regular bookstores?

yes Tish..you can get them in the major places like Miami...just go to the "new agey" section in the stores..they arent cheap..at least not in Canada they arent! an ephemeris here can run at 40 bucks when you can FIND them..I dont know what the course requires,but if you dont need one past the year 2000,you could check out a used book store..lots there!..silly me..guess you would need a new one for the transits!

I'm glad things are better between you - I think he world is calmer now. Actually I'm very impressed that your standing up for yourself - it's very healthy to do so.

As for the books - perhaps you can get them from amazon or other itnernet sites?

We'll scout up reasonable sources for these reference works so you can buy them through the site if you can't find them locally.

Actually you might not want to get expensive versions unless you plan to calculate charts manually -- you will LEARN to calculate them this way in the course, because that's the best way to really understand the process, but for regular chart construction in the long run, most people opt to use a computer program rather than a calculator, ephemeris, and table of houses.
