Has LindaGoodman.net gone out of business? I heard the employees all left because they weren't being paid but I did not believe it. Now, I am beginning to.

Does someone know what is going on?
You will begin charging for horoscopes (free on every other site) -- will you charge for Discussions to? Or, just shut down the site?

To put it bluntly but truthfully, LindaGoodman.net was forced to close its doors because it was losing money every month ... like many "free content" sites on the web. Yes, there are still some sites that offer free horoscopes, for now ... but as you know if you spend much time on the web, many of the sites with the highest quality horoscopes are now out of business and gone. It's just simple economics. Free content isn't a viable business model on the web. It works on TV because advertising supports it, but on the web advertising has simply not panned out as a source of support revenue.

We could have done the same thing, but rather than just shutting down completely and disappearing from the net, our friends at LindaGoodmanAstrology.com agreed to continue providing a lot of our content (and host our discussion forums), by offering the daily, monthly and birthday horoscopes as paid content in order to finance the site. Will this work? I don't know, it remains to be seen ... but I hope that those who value the horoscopes and the discussions and the community here will continue to support it by paying a small fee for those horoscopes they choose to view daily. The small fee will be well worth it for the quality of the content and the work that goes into preparing and delivering it, but only time will tell.

Crystal is fine, thank you for asking ... we are both a bit worn down by the effort of keeping the site afloat in difficult times, but we are hopeful that this will be a real turning point ... we are already looking forward to some exciting new projects like publishing Twelfth Nigh Secrets and working on a Linda Goodman movie!! It is a difficult thing to have to balance a labor of love with the realities of making ends meet, but that is the world we live in, and it is part of our learning path now.

In the meantime, I hope everyone will continue to support LindaGoodmanAstrology.com as you have supported LindaGoodman.net in the past ... and we will work together to continue spreading Linda's vision of light and love and spiritual awareness around the world, both with this new website and with many other new ideas that are still in the germinating stage. Thanks for your love and concern, hope this helps make things clear.

Yes. "change alone is changeless," ain't it the truth!

Wish I had definite facts and dates to give you about these book/movie projects, but alas I don't yet. What I can say is that they are definitely in the "concrete planning and negotiating" stages, so that means farther along than ever ... and they are getting more of our attention since the site switchover, so hopefully very SOON. I will definitely keep everyone posted here the minute I have something more definite.
