Dear Knowflakes, I thought I'd let you know about the following events that are happening soon. Venus enters Aquarius on the 17th, and squares Jupiter on the 18th, conjuncts Neptune on the 22nd, sextiles Mars and squares Saturn on the 27th, and sextiles Pluto on the 28th. You should be prepared to really get your energy level into high gear on the 11th, as Mars enters Aries, and will trine Pluto on the 28th. Dave

Dear Dave-- Yikes-- Oooh-- as soon as Mars hits Aries its going to square my Moon-- last time it squared my Moon from Libra-- & I promise I am not making this up-- I accidentally spilled scalding hot water all over my Moon-ruled chest-- ) It was a horrible painful burn & I thought I was scarred for life-- but the miraculous thing is it left no scars at all-- must have been Jupiter protecting my vulnerable Moon from serious harm-- Oh Dave-- should I stay inside for awhile-- Mars is gonna square my Moon & Jupiter, quincunx Saturn, then immediately square my Sun-- and on top of all that 1 Aries is my Sun Moon midpoint-- Just when Saturn quits squaring Mars-- ooh I wish teh planets would let up on me for a bit!!! TC, Well, if you stay inside, that won't preclude anything - just be careful... Love Dave

Dear Dave-- Well-- I didn't stay inside-- & I didn't get hurt!! I had to drive through a couple of snowstorms & work has been a nightmare, but its over. Can I ask a question? Why is it that events always happen when negative transits are indicated in my chart, but the favorable transits bring no events? I've been thinking about this very hard-- do the favorable transits, like sextiles & trines just sort of work to help you keep things together just when you think you'll never make it through another moment? Is it only squares & oppositions & of course conjunctions, that actually seem to trigger the events suggested? I'm trying to better comprehend how to read my chart, to prepare me for whats to come-- I have noticed that my intuition is getting better, but things like this still puzzle me? Because I just recently had all these harmonious Jupiter transists-- it trined my Mercury ,trined Venus & Juno ), is now sextiling my Moon, conjoining Chiron, trining Saturn & about to trine my Sun in a few days-- I've had such a stretch of hell since November-- Never before can I literally say I've been so extremely tired & run down. . . I'm depending on Jupiter to get me through-- Soon enough Saturn will oppose my Uranus & I know what thats like because I experienced the beginnings of it last year before Saturn went Retrograde-- & I ran screaming from a bad relationship, quit my job & moved home, throwing everyone around me into chaos-- You know what? I think I'm just venting now-- forgive me, but can you please explain why positive transits don't manifest as often as negative? Is it because of our own tendencies to be more aware of the bad than the good in our lives? Thanks a lot, Love Jennifer

TC, It's late and I will have to give a fuller answer later. The realy key is how you look at life - and expect the "good" and the "bad". Squares and oppositions are tests - and the trines and sextiles are opportunities - and if you have enough negative vibes about oneself, then one can't really take advantage...

TC, I have had a little bit of time to look at what you said, and the previous message basically says it all. We expect squares and oppositions to be "bad", and we prepare our selves for them to be "bad". One though has to look at the brighter side - for example a Pluto transit may get rid of things you THOUGHT you needed, but did you? And if one is prepared for the transit, then one can get through it a lot better. And if one's orientation is negative, then one expects the worse - and it happens. So, one has to reorient one's self - and what happens when a "nasty" transit comes along, then one is ready for it, and can flow easily with what is supposed to happen. I strangely enough now with some "nasty" transits look forward to them. And once one becomes more positive in their orientation, then one can take advantage of the trines and sextiles. So, you know what you need to do... Dave

Dear Dave-- Thank you so much for taking the time to answer-- I knew that already, anyway-- and I think I did get my Jupiter sextile Moon miracle yesterday, despite my lack of faith--- I promise I'll try to refrain from asking too many questions. . . Lord knows you'll have enough of 'em, & I do have dozens of astrology books kicking around, so lazy Libra me will look things up for myself when my intuition needs a kick start--
Love Jennie

TC, No problem with answering the questions - yours brought up a good point I wanted to make anyway. So, keep asking! Dave

Hello Dave and TC I thought TC raised a really interesting point as it sometimes seems to me that the hard aspects have a lot more impact than the easier ones. As Dave says I have come to think of the hard aspects as an opportunity to sort out and get rid of the things that are not right for you. I also understand that if I make positive efforts to go along with the energies raised the whole episode should run more smoothly than if I fight it. For example I have Pluto conjunct Moon at the moment and am seeing a therapist to try to open up my emotions and resolve any emotional hangups that I have. I am hoping that by doing this Pluto won't do anything nasty. Maybe if I was insisting on running away from my emotional issues it would create a big emotional mess so that I had to face up to them. Does that make sense? I'm still not sure how to handle the 'opportunities' though. Do you think that they come from outside you and it is up to you to grasp them or that they come from inside you. For example if you have Neptune trine Venus will you have the chance for an uplifting relationship or will you just be in the mood to find one? Any guidance on this would be much appreciated! Best wishes

Mermaid, Taking advantage of the Pluto conjuncting your Moon is great - it is the right time to see a therapist and get things sorted out. As long as you work on things in a positive manner, then you are taking good advantage of the transit. As for the soft aspects - the opportunity is there - it's up to you to take advantage of it.
