Valentine's Day this year will have an added bonus, as Jupiter will be going into Taurus at 1:39 PM (PST), 9:39 PM (Greenwich Mean Time), and 7:39 AM February 15 (Sydney, Australia)until June 29th, and there will be a shift of its expansiveness to more practical matters (and just maybe Vulcan will be discovered!).

For a change, the people who have lots of planets in the fixed signs will not be so overburdened for once! Along its travels in Taurus, and it will move fast - to cover all of Taurus in 3 1/2 months is MOVING, it will square Neptune on March 16, conjunct Mars on April 10, inconjunct Pluto on April 16, conjunct the Sun on May 7, conjunct Mercury on May 8, conjunct Venus on May 15, square Uranus on May 20, and conjunct Saturn on May 28.

It goes into Gemini on June 29, and is there the rest of the year in the early degrees - it is at 2 Gemini at the end of 2000, and when I went to get the American Emphemeris for the 21st Century, I found out that it has been out of print for three months, and that it will be hopefully avaiilable in a few weeks... so I cannot tell you if it goes back into Taurus in 2001! If it does, it will be for a short period of time!

So, there will be a lot of activity, especially with matters dealing with artistic endeavors, and those with financial matters - hopefully positive - but remember, too much can be a very negative thing.

So with Jupiter speed-transiting through Taurus, does that mean that whichever hous it flies by in our chart will experince its effects quickly? Like, I'm picturing a rushed Jupiter cruising through my 7th & 8th-- I just can't wait for it to sextile my Moon, natal Jupiter, and trine the Sun & Saturn-- & conjoing Chiron all with a the first 3 degrees of Taurus!!!! Oh, and it'll also conjoin my vertex I guess--

By then, Saturn will finally be finished pulverizing my Mars--

Please explain this as a GOOD thing to fixed signs again please! Right now I see it helping Saturn square my Sun and Mercury, then Venus and ASC and keep saying, Gods help me now! Great an arrogant Aquarius dealing with a lot of #$#@$$ in her life from the hard squares Saturn is dishing out right now. Just what the world needs. Hey, isn't Jupiter square Sun the time you gain weight too? ARRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!! Someone send me their copy of Star Signs QUICK! I may need the diet. With all my progressions to Pisces and living by the ocean, I can easily see me retaining water. Jennifer and Auriel and I seem to have some more aspects in common or at least planets in fixed signs. I have Uranus in Taurus at 3 degrees in my seventh house. With a 10 degree Scorpio Sun and a 4 degree Aquarian Moon plus Mars in four degrees Capricorn and Saturn in four degees Pisces, and Pluto in 29 degrees Cancer, I hope some of this news is good news for a change. This last year has been strange and difficult to say the least, for a lot of us.

I am going to see if I can find Jupiter in 2001, somewhere in my references, Dave.

Yes, it means that whatever house(s) Jupiter will be in will also fly by - for example my Jupiter will be in my 6th only for a few months.

Pat - without looking at your chart there is no way to tell - follow your intuition.

Basically as I said the fixed signs will get some relieft from the eccentricity of Uranus, the karma of Saturn, and the dreams of Neptune - or to put it another way - there will be a way for expansion of these principles.

Also, people with planets in the Earth signs will have Jupiter trining them - which can really lead to some positive events - you'll have to be aware of them and move on them - the trine provides the opportunity, but you have to act. I for example have Jupiter trining my Mercury, Sun and Mars...

So, from what I understand... when Jupiter enters Taurus on Feb.15, it's considered entering the 2nd house because Taurus rules it? Is this right? I have Grandpa Saturn in my 2nd, and my 2nd house is ruled by it's natural owner, Taurus. You see, I am due a settlement soon. My doctor's just gave the go ahead to release me and for my lawyer to finalize my case. Will this mean I may have some good vibrations from the stars, as far as finances go, maybe my settlement?

I think it won't enter your second house until it passes the degree of Taurus on the cusp on your second house. Do you know what that is?

Mermaid is right - you'll have to wait for jupiter to be in the 2nd until it reaches the degree that is on the house cusp... Beyond that, Jupiter being in the 2nd should help with your finances...

I saw the "Stargazer" on PBS last night and he said that next week all the planets will be on the other side of the Sun and that we (earth) will be alone on this side.
He also described how to find Mars Jupiter and Saturn according to the Moon--which helps us New Knowflakes--so that part was cool--naked eye stuff and all that---
My question is--and fOrgive me if it is an ignOrant One--Will Vulcan be with the other planets? Is that why they might finally "find" it?

Hi, as a fellow Virgo with many planets in Earth signs, I would like to know how Jupiter trining these is to effect me so I can act on this! I don't know how to intrepret transits & how they effect me. I check my daily horoscope on Astrodienst about this, but it would be good to be able to do some interpretation myself & know what to look for.

I don't know what degree my cusps are at. My Gemini Asc. is at 13 degrees, does that mean that all the cusps are 13 degrees? As far as Taurus ruling the second house is concerned, I have Leo in Venus in my 2nd house at 4 degrees, does that mean a love prospect or something good like that coming? Oh please, tell me yes!!!

My Sun is at 9 degrees Virgo, Mer 25, Pl 7 (all in Virgo - Sun & Pl in my third house, Mer in the 4th). I also have Cap in Jup 28, & Sat 23(in my 8th house). If you need more specifics my birth info is: 9/2/61 at 1:03am, Pittsburgh, PA (80w00, 40n26).

I just found your question.

I get a rising of 28 Gemini for your time - and that is EDT. There is some debate on house systems - Linda believed in equal houses where I use another system - Koch - for many many reasons.

As for the effects of Jupiter tring your stellium in Virgo, it should be a very positive experience, but you'll have to work on it - and since your stellium is in th 4th house, it could well mean that your family will grow (and that implies a relationship!).

I suppose there's nothing going on with my Leo in Venus in my 2nd house at 4 degrees or you would have mentioned it.
