Dear Dave--

I know I said I'd hold back on asking you too many questions-- but I do have one-- I've read book after book & I'm still trying to figure out this one aspect in my chart.

Its my Moon-Jupiter conjunction, in the 9th house in zero degrees of Cancer-- from everything I've read-- it sounds fantastic-- Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, at home in the 9th--- the Moon is in its own sign, so strong-- and in zero degrees of a cardinal sign which is supposed to be significant--

I've read all the definitions of this aspect-- "expansive emotions", "broad-minded" "success in middle age", "visionary dreamer"-- okay, okay-- but I'm trying to figure out why my soul chose to be born at that moment with such a textbook aspect--- I wonder if you might have any esoteric insight on this?

Also-- I was wondering if you might be able to help me understand how a trine between two planets in incompatible signs might work-- like-- Saturn at 00 Virgo trine Venus at 26 Sag-- is that still beneficial, geometrically, its a trine, but the elements don't match up, so how does that work? And that'll be it for my questions for awhile, I promise, promise!!!

Love Jennie

Hi Jenny:

Your 9th house Moon-Jupiter conjunction is indeed the visionary dreamer. It's a very faithful aspect. It also represents a positive and uplifting mother who encouraged you to explore and see the world. This Moon-Jupiter conjunction inclines you to travel, both physically and mentally. This position would also be excellent for the fields of law and media.

Incompatible signs may trine because the energies at the cusps blur harmoniously. A planet at the Leo-Virgo cusp is harmonious to a planet at the Sag-Capricorn cusp. Also, remember that Virgo and Sag are normally at odds, but it is possible to reconcile the opposites. Perhaps the person represented has learned to fuse Sag's idealism and expansiveness with Virgo's capacity for detail and routine, giving them the unique ability to conceptualize a dream and actually manifest it. Such a person can "talk the talk" and "walk the walk."

Hope this helps.

Thomas
