Dear Dave, I have a question. I have an empty 12 house. Couple of psychics told methat I did not have many incarnations. Is it true? I have heard you can tell how old a soul is. And if I am a young soul and had let's say 4-5 incarnations only, what did I do before that? I mean if there is no end or beginning, and everything comes from something....?! Peace and love, Jade

Jade, That is a myth. Some astrologers believe it but I don't. As I have said before, the information about the progress of the soul's journey is in the chart, but as of now it cannot be decoded. I can tell by looking at someone the Path of the person, but that is about it. As I mentioned, this is not the first time this topic has been brought up - you might want to do a search on 12th house on this forum. ------------------ Thanks Dave

Oh, I see. I thought you can do that by looking at someone's chart. Thanks anyway. Love and peace, Jade

Hi Jade! I'm interested in the 12th house too - but for the opposite reason - I have a few planets sitting there and that's a tough house to figure out - for me anyway! I agree with Dave, I don't think what is in or isn't in your 12th house will say much about the path you are on. And like all things in your chart - it's what you DO with it that counts! I noticed what you wrote on other threads about this too, and I can see that you are really keen to know more...all I can suggest is that you do some reading...some books that I recomend were The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield and also The Seat of the Soul by Gary Zuchav. Both of those books will give you alot to think about, and hopefully answer more of your questions. One other thing I just remembered was some good advice I got from someone when I first really started to try and figure out information about my past lives etc..She told me that spending alot of my energy looking for information about my previous incarnations was not as useful as concentrating on being here and now - making the most of what I am today, rather than dwelling too much on the events of the past. At the time it was very good advice, because I think a person has to have a really good understanding of karma and the universe before looing too much into the past - it can be very unsettling to realize that you were once a big jerk or hurt people who you love now - but as you grow spiritually it becomes easier to detach and have a more objective understanding of things. I also think that if you need information about your soul and your path that you will get it from your guides or higher self - but like they say "Information is given on a need to know basis" Good luck with your search!!! Love, Terri

Thank you, Terrie. I have read most of James Redjield's books. But there is so much more out there to read and to know. I want to concenrate more on meditation and like you sais, connect with my higher being. As for the past lives, sometimes I am afriad to go there. I never know what I may find. Lova and peace, Jade

Jade - Fear is normal - that has been a big lesson for me that I am still working on - dealing with fear... But I think that the more I understand the less I am afraid. I don't think I am fearful anymore of what I may have or may not have done. I think that is where practicing detachment has been good for me - when I am detactched and acting from a higher place I don't worry so much about "bad" things I may or may not have done, because I know that fearing it or worse yet feeling gulty about it won't actually change the events, and in fact could begin to negitavly affect me here in the present - this is why I think that most people don't have clear memories of their past lives. I wrote some intersting stuff on fear before - I'm going to have to dig it out and maybe post some later... Have a good day! Love, Terri

My sun is in my 12th house. The astrologer who did my chart said it meant i would have to struggle to be seen. Kind of made sense for where i was in my life then. Someone else did tell me the thing about it meant it was my last life, but that didnt' really resonate with me. I have a first house moon. Is there any implication to moon and sun being so close? Dear Hiareth, I have moon in 1st house as well. Boy, do we fall in love easily? I know I do. My sun is in the 5th house which means lots of parying, nevertheless sometimes I am quite shy. It's interesting that your moon and sun are so close to each other. maybe it's a matter of balancing. I think Dave can answer this question most accurately. Love and peace, Jade

Jade, Yeah and compounding "falling in love" for me is it's a Libra moon, and i also have libra rising. So if anything i'm over cautious. It's funny b4 i had my chart done, everyone swore i had a cancer moon. Round face, transparent feelings etc. Then i read that was due to moon house placement. Do you share those traits? curiously, Hiareth

In a way yes. I felt the Cancerian triats so strong. And sometimes I am moody but then I always put on a happy face.
