Hi Linda Goodman in "Star Signs" referred to a forthcoming book about Sally's disappearance. This, Linda wrote, was to be given the title "Spider Line". Not that Ive searched yet, but no-one seems to mention this forthcoming book. Strange title... Is it straight foreward, about the fine line between Truth and Fiction, Mystery and Intrigue, Web of deceit ?...Or the unraveling of a deeper darker mystery ? Who would be familiar with the term "Rock Spider" ? maybe you are, but I dont know at this point in time... In Australia it is a name given to the perpetrators of child sexual abuse... Not sure if Linda would have written a book on crimes such as this...

Hi Daisy, I have been working for many years now to pull together a full picture of Linda's life. Back when our site was LindaGoodman.net, and before even Auriel and Dave were hired to answer astro questions on it, Greg and Crystal flew me out to California to discuss our working together to publish the "official" Linda Goodman biography. Greg and I were immediately in synch, but Crystal Bush and I were immediately at odds. For me, it was just a vibe I immediately picked up from Crystal that immediately put me off. I had wanted to like her, but I honestly couldn't wait to get out of there once I met her. Greg always kindly begged understanding of her, so I haven't mentioned my feelings about her until now. But anyway... I was and am friends with a number of Linda's friends, some of whom had very trustingly handed over a lot of their own things from Linda, which Linda had given them, to Crystal ... and Crystal, promising their return in a week, had never and STILL has never given them back to those friends of Linda these many years later. In similar fashion, Crystal wanted me to do all the work on a book she would take credit for. I declined in no uncertain terms. Nevertheless, with the help of Linda's true friends and the encouragement of Gregory, I have continued to work on gathering everything I can. And finally, as of Oct. 1 of this year, I'm devoting full time to the project. You would be amazed at the number of people Linda actually did give copies of various things to. And, once they understood me and what I'm doing and that I'm for real, many of these things have passed into my hands. I do have copies of all of Linda's work (manuscripts and research notes) on the three "forthcoming books" she meant to publish -- Hazelwood, Twelfth Night Secrets, and Spider Line. I also have the manuscript of Captains, the book Goober wrote. Plus I have a number of her own notes in her own handwriting on some of these matters, and I have a number of the books Linda learned from herself when she was teaching herself astrology and other codes. These are her copies of those books, again with her handwritten notes in the margins. I just completed an interview Thursday with two of her friends and have other interviews lined up for next week. I'm planning to phone "Finbar O'Malley" (not his real name) today, and the lady who cared for one of Linda's gurus (the Twelfth Night Secrets guru) at the end of her life has said that I can come look at what that guru left with her. I have never wanted to aggressively push this project, but rather to wait until things began to come together of their own accord, which is exactly what's happening now. Spider Line is about Linda's search for Sally. It's that specific. And the phrase itself, as Greg said here on this site before, refers to a physical feature of Sally that Linda believed she would be able to identify Sally by if ever she were to see her in the flesh again. Love, Maria

Awesome Maria. only last night did I read about the two guys from Holland that visited Linda in 1991, you mentioned that you would write to them... I bought "Relationship Signs" against my own better judgement. There was not enough time for me to finish reading the Preface in the Book Store. anyway if I had jumped to the comparison astrology aspects I would have recognised immediately that the info was taken from a book by Lois Haines Sargent called "How To Handle Your Human Relations" We Live and Learn... thanks for your response P.S think that I do recall Greg saying that it was a physical feature of Sally's that would identify her to Linda. Did wonder last night if it was something as simple as a Tattoo! we'll have to wait and see CD (((BIG HUGS)))

Hi CD, Maria, and all, What a pleasant sort of 'October surprise' this is! Maria, your work sounds thrilling. Blessings for you and your project. I am sure Linda is in good hands with this Aries. I had always figured the 'spider line' to be a little natural spider vein marking. CD, jumping around posts on the site, I'm still stumped about what is 'rock spider.' Love to all,

Wow.. Maria
This is fantastic.. I so admire your tenacity. The Timing of this 'coming together' fits October's energy very well.
Here's a quote from Maya del Mar's October overview.
Quote:
This year of 2006 has been an extraordinary year in which to make preparations for the major shifts which are coming. And October is a kind of climax month, in a number of ways.
Interesting.. driving to Cripple Creek from the South the highest elevation is Climax Pass.
Hey CD...
About the Rock Spider.. first off I had no intention.. Consciously.. of visiting CE.
It's a cold rainy grey day.. I am sitting at the computer in a catalepsy state staring at TW ezboard looking for Inspiration.. when the Follow Your Heart forum caught my attention.. and I'm thinking this is the forum I dedicated to Linda and it needs a proper name. About then I hear 'Hey go to CE'
The Spiders Line is far reaching... and the web she spins catches all that pass her way. I agree with you that it doesn't make sense that Linda would right a book about OZ Rock Spiders. Who would Know the term here.. no computers.. vastly different World then... with one exception. Linda's Quest for the Truth. Wasn't it 30 some years she researched Lincoln?
Could it be.. Sally stumbled into the Rock Spider's Web? Curiosity got the best of me.. so in the tradition of the word druids.. and below that is the capitals message.

Wonderful, Maria. I know it's been a long, sometimes frustrating road. I'm so glad to hear it's clearing for you. Reading your writings around here lately, I was thinking that I hoped you were jotting something down. There's something magical in your air. Sad to say, but from care...protect yourself. All those hard, painful lessons of learning how people can be. All that learning that brought you here. Best of luck to you.

Thank you all so much for being here and for your love and encouragement. I'm having a bit of a hard day's night tonight, a little teary. In the way it all came about, I'm kind of hooking it on the passage of Saturn across my ascendant this summer. Remember, I had that dream about looking for the old "place" and finding it was all changed. Brand new Saturn cycle now, that's a good thing. But tonight I guess I'm grieving some for the one gone by. Twenty-eight years or thereabouts in a full Saturn cycle, yah? Some really tough ones in there, but damn, some of those were pretty good years. Anyway, sigh, it's all good. Let it go, take a deep breath and start in anew. But it was very very heartwarming to come in tonight and see you bunch. Monster cyber hugs. Love, Maria
