Conscious Community

by Carrie Chesney

Sucheta, known on our Conscious Evolution forums as EagleOverTheSea, beautifully expressed the renewed energy in our online community when she made this statement:

“Sonia is back home, Skydancer is finally getting what she wants, Terri’s new baby is on the way and there are many others I know who will be starting out on something new in the coming days. So how about dedicating this meditation to New Beginnings? Wishing everyone lots of luck and wisdom as they begin to write a new chapter of their lives.”

It’s true. Wonderful things are happening for the people of our forums, and I find it to be a breath of fresh air for all of us who have been under plenty of strain lately in our lives. Life is all about new beginnings and learning from hardships to come out stronger than you were originally. Sadly, these all too often threaten to break us, and it takes an exceptionally strong person to truly be able to stand up and take responsibility when it is required of them. It takes an even stronger person to know when to bend or be broken. For those of you out there who have been bearing the weight of your problems on your shoulders, I hope that you are able to take confidence from the knowledge that there are people out there who care about you. For those of you whose lives have been just fine and dandy, I truly hope that instead of turning a blind eye in your bliss, you instead turn to lend a helping hand to those who have not been so fortunate.

*White Light and Love for...

  • The families of the astronauts who died so tragically.
  • The world’s leaders. May they see the danger inherent in the precarious and fragile situation we have been placed in. We send them light and love to guide them to remember the millions of lives that inhabit this earth, and to remember there are more important things in life than being at the top.
  • All those who would face danger if war begins.
  • Rainbow’s (Ginny’s) mother. While it is good that she is feeling a lot better, let’s still send her even more white light and love to help protect her from further pain and illness.
  • Searching (Dani), for her health concerns.
  • Silk_route (Sonia). Now that she has safely returned to the United States, let’s send her some extra light to help her get her life back on track.
  • Everyone seeking to understand and bring into realization their life’s purpose.
  • Nurturing and sustaining light in baby-blanket-pastel colors for Terri and the babe she’s expecting.
  • Healing light for anyone who ever felt broken-hearted.

Again, I would like to emphasize that we truly do appreciate your input if you wish to send light and love to anyone you know who needs it. Just PM me (enchantress299) or send your requests to metamorphosis@consciousevolution.com. I would also like to start giving you guys updates on what has been going on with those who we’ve been attempting to help with our outpouring of positive energy. As has already been mentioned, Sonia is back in the United States from Bangladesh and is studying now to earn her G.E.D. diploma, and Rainbow’s mother is feeling a lot better. I would also like to add that Maddie, a little girl who was diagnosed with cancer at birth, is now cancer-free and a vibrant young girl. For those of you who don’t know, Maddie’s aunt, our own BlueDove, asked those of us on the forums to send her plenty of white light and love when she was diagnosed. May Maddie continue to grow, heal and lead the happiest of lives. If you want to find out more about her, the thread is “Maddie~Then and Now.”

Now, for this month’s look at our World Community, Sucheta has provided some intriguing information on the Australian Aborigines. I personally didn’t know a whole lot about the Aborigines, and her article has definitely highlighted the more interesting parts of the culture. It holds a good message for all, and I hope you go look at it in its new location: A Land that Dreamt of Life.

I would like to remind everyone that we still have a Friday Meditation going on every Friday night at 6 p.m. or whenever is convenient for you. Meditation or prayer in groups is always much stronger than alone, so if you have time, try a little meditation. A second session has begun Mondays at 10 p.m. Central time, so if you can’t make one, try for the other. If you’ve never meditated before, now you have an excuse to try! Check the “Friday Meditation” and “Meditation Monday” threads for more info.

Truthfully, I find that, in the whole scheme of things, many of us are making new lives and new changes for ourselves, and I hope that we all continue to progress along these lines. Change can be a hard thing, but it’s often necessary for us to pull ourselves out from under all the pressures of our lives. We can only stand up so long before we find that it’s just too hard to fight for a lost cause or it’s just too difficult to stay in one place. Life is never static, and it does go on whether or not we are trying to stop it. Hopefully, we can all learn to take advantage of the opportunities that come our way, no matter whether they arise in tragedy or in joy.

So to all of you I say, try to spread a little love and light; give help and opportunities to others, because you never know when those others might be there to help you turn your life around and even save you in your darkest moment.
