A Star Arts Lexigram

Inspired by the festive spirit of giving and sharing, we are pleased to offer this “Star Art” rendered from the phrase PEACE ON EARTH. Created by our friend Will I Am at www.goodworksonearth.org, this beautiful Lexigram delves into the elusive mystery of world peace and reveals a loving message of hope and caring. Unlike the Lexigrams we have shared in the past (including one for this very phrase in our May 2003 issue), this “Star Art” was created using a set of guidelines different from the Linda Goodman-inspired method — the method we have used to create previous Lexigrams for Metamorphosis.

The differences in Will’s methods are subtle, but interesting. For one thing, he does not allow a letter to appear more times in any single word than it did in any one of the original words. A case in point: the words that comprise this “PEACE ON EARTH” Star Art use the letter “E” no more than twice in any one anagram, because no word in the original phrase has more than two “E’s.” The Linda Goodman method would allow using words that had three “E’s,” because there are three “E’s” in the entire phrase.

In rendering his “Star Art” and “Name Art” Lexigrams, Will also looks for what he calls the “One Line Letter Perfect Anagram” or the “Ultimate Healing Anagram,” which comes from using every letter of a particular word or phrase — no more nor less — in a single line. He believes these are especially helpful in finding the key areas of healing for the person or entity that is the subject of the anagram. Although that particular technique is not used in this PEACE ON EARTH Star Art, it is a special feature of some of the work he displays on his website.

He describes each of these methods as focusing a laser on the letters, in different ways, and he feels they give a stronger focus to the Name Art or Star Art of the specific person or entity.

Regarding the two “E’s” or three “E’s” question, this editor humbly suggests looking to both methods with an open heart and following the whispers within to determine which speaks most to you. Linda’s beloved word druids are mysterious and fluid. Tapping into the spirit of the words with which we live and breathe every day brings us that much closer to revealing the secrets of the world around us and the inner world of our own s-elves.
