December Star Watch

This is Sagittarius time of year, when most everyone is
at their most merry and generous, happily spreading good tidings and cheer and
sharing in laughter, love and good times with family and friends. This is the
time of year when people all over the world are celebrating Hanukkah, Yule,
Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Years Eve. This is the last month of the year a
time when autumn leaves have finished falling from the trees and nature begins
to yawn and stretch in preparation for winters hibernation.

our family at ConsciousEvolution.com suffered a great loss in the passing of our
dear friend and webmaster, Gregory Ellison. Losing anybody close to you opens up
a whole realm of questions and emotions, and losing someone as young and vital
as Gregory makes satisfying the questions even harder. In preparing this edition
of Astrology Answers, I was struck by the grief in an e-mail from a reader named
Joyce, who has also suffered the pain of losing someone she loves.

A Yuletide Celebration by Tracey Couto
Its December once again and
the joyous holiday season is upon us once more. This is the time of year when
many people around this great big world decorate trees, sing Christmas carols,
sip eggnog and exchange gifts with their family and friends. Many call this
holiday season by the name of Christmas, but others, especially those in the
neo-pagan community, call it Yule. It is said that many of the Christmas
traditions celebrated today actually originated from ancient pagan rituals of
Yule.
