The Year Ahead for Pisces

Ancient Wisdom, Modern Choices

New directions may appear to have no origin and may not reveal an ending. New friends arrive unannounced; old friends disappear without explanation. Along the way, you may be searching for guidance. You may have found some and then later been disappointed by a teacher or the lack of soul in a book.

March Star Watch

Welcome, one and all, to the mutable month of March. This is the time of year when winter takes its encore bow before exiting, stage left, and the first green of spring makes its dramatic debut. The warmer days gently reawaken nature from its peaceful slumber, slowly bringing the world back to life. It is often said that the month of March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb, and this particular March certainly lives up to that reputation astrologically.

Ode to the Vernal Equinox

I always breathe a happy sigh of relief when the month of March rolls around because it means that winter is gradually loosening its bone-chilling grip on the world and the warmth and floral beauty of spring will reign supreme once more. The sights and sounds of nature awakening and resuming her work tickle the senses and inspire one to commence work on her own creative projects. The official first day of Spring, the Vernal Equinox, arrives this year on March 20 at 12:33 p.m. GMT and marks a time of balance when night and day are equal.
